Atomic Habits and My Story of reading

Target accomplished by 9 minutes delayed

I just completed 'Atomic Habits' on Jan 31st 9 minutes delayed.

Yes, I set a target for this year to complete 12 books in a year with 1 book for each month. The first book selection for January was sparked by one of my LinkedIn connections' suggestions. Lots of thanks to her.

I fixed to read a minimum of 10 pages per day 1 hour before my sleep time and it was going regularly with the consistency and missed out for some days. At the climax, 31 of January I had to finish nearly 80 pages out of 250 plus pages. My procrastination slightly headed up to demotivate me that it couldn't be possible when the time was about 8.00 PM. I have to be traveled four hours daily up and down to the office and home. My local old buses were very old and the lights' brightness was also not much better that I couldn't read that time but the speed of the bus was good. So I was able to reach home by 9.30 and need 30 minutes of refreshment, then I have to sit for the read.

All these calculations perfectly happened, when I told myself, "Rajesh this is your very first month's target, and never give up, and don't make yourself fail to do so".

Yes, I will feel tired usually every time after reached home every day and this time I don't let myself fall into that situation by telling myself to me the above words.

So from 10:00 to 12:09, my target was completed by 9 minutes delayed. I wouldn't felt any tiredness or sleepiness anywhere at that time. I was in 'on the blue moon' moments that never happened before in my lifetime.

Just I came to remember the old adage "Where there is a will, there is a way".

So for any sake, "Don't ever or never give up" on anything until it is done.

My second month's book, "Psychology of Money" is in my hands now.

Whether the target is small or big, make a decision to finish it at any cost or any sake, it will give you the tastiest fruit which you may not taste before, and if you are consistent with this habit means you become one of the stars in the World. Most successful leaders and legends started to get their victory in this manner only. By doing small habits with consistency and determination where they made their seat in history.

James Clear is beautifully written this book so anyone can easily understand the theory of Atomic Habits and he narrates his book-play as a motivational movie with many successful leaders' research and experiments that how they make us successful in life. Everyone should read and apply the essence of this book to grow and glow like the sun in their life.
