Peaceful Tidings...

...And a Blessed SUN to you and yours! Praying that y'all are striving, thriving, and driving into y'all's ideals with fervor.

I wanna start by apologizing for hitting you up on what I believe oughta be a day for Famo, food, and fellowship. I happened to be jamming out to some of your classics, again; and realized that it might could be worth both of our whiles if I worked up the courage to send you a brief note, despite our lack of a rapport.

I've seen you live, in the hometown that you and I share thrice; and I will never forget the very first time, which was also the first occasion that both of your praiseworthy parents were able to attend a show together. "Won't He do it!"

In any event, I'm sending this brief note to inquire as to whether or not you might feasibly be intrigued by the opportunity to help me get my fledgling apparel brand off the ground. I remember vividly that you mentioned how you aided a Cuzzo that was sick, back on the song "Lifting Shadows".

Fun fact: My guest to your show after releasing The Iceberg, at The 9:30 Club, had a mini panic attack when you performed that song in front of all those "colonizers". She also made me miss the end of the show with her feet mysteriously getting tired, like she never heard of keeping flats in her purse or something.

I digress. Rumor has it that all of humanity are cousins, and there are very few in our beloved DMV that are sicker than my foolish self.

I made some very asinine decisions while I was still in the military; and even a bit more while in my transition period over the past decade, almost. I say all of this to say, perhaps you can bounce the idea off of your Wonderful Wiz or whatnot, and see if y'all might not be open to being cofounders.

I've designed ~42 products; from socks, to beanies, to fitteds, and dad hats. Of course, the bread and butter of the operation is tees; as the title, War 'N' Tees, indicates.

Before I forget: There's a blog and an Etsy page tethered to my site; which was created thx to Shopify. I have a Google page that has all 5 Star reviews, even tho it's just an entirety of four.

I will include the link to my site below and then anxiously await your answer on the matter at hand. I'm hoping and praying that you may potentially have empathy for another girl dad that wishes he could emulate one of his heroes.

As far as DMV artists go, you're only second to the late, great Marvin Gaye in my book (Rest In Power to the 3x OG). At any rate, this has almost turned into another blog post, against my best judgment.

Even if you are only able to invest a small fraction of the ten bands previously alluded to, you will have a (former) Grunt forever indebted to you. I haven't retained very much of the perishable skills, nor the muscle memory, from way back when; tho, you will know without a shadow of a doubt that I am eternally grateful for the mere happenstance of you thinking about considering the informal request.

Even if I am somehow prevented from showing my gratitude, I will eagerly ensure that my daughters are not, "Lord willing and the creek don't rise!" Another afterthought: I have a dozen or so designs that are not yet available on my site, and I have been adding at least one new product to the catalog, for purchase, weekly.

In conclusion, I am extremely blessed to have stumbled upon your timeless work; and am currently praying with earnest that my request will appeal to you in some way, shape, or form. Regardless, "Stay blessed (and free)!"
