It is a time when most people expect your 'adult' life to really start and as such, it comes with huge responsibility and a lot of pressure. 30 has also been described as a monumental time by the people who have gone through it. It has also been described it as a time of wisdom, self-assuredness, and self-awareness, so there is lot to look forward to going into one's 30s. Today, we will be counting down 7 Nigerian celebrities who will this year be making the transition into their 30s. Are you ready to see who they are? Then let's go!

Nigerian singer Mayorkun is a very successful Afrobeats artiste most popular for his hit songs like "Eleko", "Holy Father", "Mama", "Love You Tire" and more. Earlier this year on the 23rd of March, Mayorkun clocked 30 years of age.

2. Tobi Bakre

Tobi Bakre is a popular Nigerian actor, model, media personality, and one-time housemate on the popular Big Brother Naija show. Since leaving the show, he has gone on to star in blockbuster productions like "Gangs of Lagos", "Brotherhood", and more. Earlier this month, on the 1st of June, Tobi Bakre turned 30 years old.

3. BOJ

Nigerian singer Bolaji Odojukan popularly known as BOJ is most popular for making songs such as "Tungba", "Trouble", "Culture", and more. He is also part of the musical group DRB Lasgidi. This year, on the 22nd of April, BOJ also clocked 30 years of age.

4. Yerins

Big Brother housemate and self declared polymath Yerins didn't go far in the Big Brother house but got a name for himself from the show. This year, Yerins will also be turning 30 years old.

5. VeryDarkMan

Martins Vincent Otse popularly known as Verydarkman is a media personality and social media influencer most popular for his controversial videos and takes online. This year, on the 8th of April, VeryDarkMan turned 30 years old.

6. Portable

Habeeb Okikiola Badmus popularly known as Portable is a Nigerian singer and rapper who gained mainstream attention after his song "ZaZoo Zehh". Portable was born on the 12th of March and this year clocked 30 years old.

7. Kizz Daniel

Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel is a musician most popular for his hit songs including "Cough", "Wojo", "Buga", and many more. On the 1st of May this year, Kizz Daniel also clocked 30 years old.
