5 Ways to Celebrate Galentine’s Day February 13th

Today, I’m sharing with you 5 ways to celebrate Galentine’s Day. Because most people in relationships tend to spend Valentine’s Day with their significant other; February 13th is a day to spend girl time with some of your friends.

Though this day first received a plugin from a 2010 episode of Parks and Recreation; Leslie Knope (the character), decided to create a day to spend with her female friends.

From that episode, this transcended from fiction to reality.

Hence, this episode resonated with women everywhere, and today, this is a huge celebration.

So, are you ready for my ideas to make the most of this day with your girl squad?

1. Host a day for you and your close friends. Indeed, there is nothing better than spending the day indulging in some beauty treatments. First, start with a mask. At the same time, this is a great way to remove dead skin cells as well as give your skin some “Love”. 3. Another great way to celebrate is go to your favorite restaurant for brunch, lunch or dinner. And, if Galentine’s Day falls on a week night; plan a night at your favorite pub after school or work.

However, feel free to get creative and celebrate this day with your friends another way.

4. In the same way, this day is all about telling your friends what they mean to you.

Of course, you don’t have to get sappy but come up with a fun way to share some of your funny memes of your time with your friends.

5. Whether you are staying in or going out; now is the time to shop and get dressed in something to share on social media.
