Tiwa Savage on Good Morning Britain show

During the interview, Tiwa Savage was asked "When you came on for the Coronation performance, there was an absolute silence. It was hypnotic. It was an absolutely spectacular performance. How did it feel to perform for the king?" She responded saying:

TIWA SAVAGE: Wow! It was beautiful. Such an amazing moment to represent the commonwealth and just to be on that stage and I was nervous for I would say the first few seconds but as soon as I started singing, I was like yeah, I have to kill it. I just had to.

She was then asked "Afrobeats is getting millions of streams including your good self as well. Lots of exciting stuff coming up as well, you've got a concert that's happening in November" to which she said:

TIWA SAVAGE: Yes! November 26th at Wembley. And the funny thing is it's actually full circle because I lived and I grew up in Wembley with my family. I got kicked off of X Factor in Wembley in 2006. But guess what? I'm coming back now to shut it down in Wembley Arena. So the moral of that story is when they tell you know, you come back and tell them - or show them - why they should have told you yes. You just have to keep coming back.

Awwww! It's so nice to see things coming full circle like this for Tiwa. What do you think about what Tiwa Savage said? Let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment either below or on my Jide Okonjo Facebook post.
