When film love becomes real love.

I admire actors. I really do. When I was younger, and up until not even too long ago, I didn't think there was anything too difficult about the work they do. I used to say to myself: isn't it just to read a couple of lines? To not look at the camera? What is there?

It wasn't until I was called to act that I realized that come oh, maybe this thing is a lot harder than I thought.

To fake chemistry, love, passion, in front of tens and sometimes hundreds of people staring at you. In front of cameras. To not get distracted, to not break the moment, to really believe that the person you're talking to is the love of your life who is about to relocate to Katsina. It takes talent.

Then, there are those times when you're watching a movie and it looks like the chemistry is maybe a little bit too real. The passion is sizzling just a little bit too hot. And then you realize, ohhh, that's actually his real-life wife!

I love those moments. You love those moments. We all love those moments. Those moments when you're watching an intense scene in a movie and turn to your friend to say, "That's actually her real-life husband oh". Who doesn't love those moments.

Today, I'm going to share with you 12 actors who met their partners on a movie set. Maybe the next time you're watching something, you can see someone from this list and turn to your friend and say, "Oh, did you know these two actually met on a movie set?"

Without further ado, let's jump right in!

In fact, their romance was so obvious that even co-star Sola Sobawale said in a statement congratulating the couple:

My Adesua, I remember the conversation we had about finding ‘the one’. Funny thing is I saw this happening after seeing you both together on set. I am not sure what it was, but I was moved. I just decided to keep it to myself and simply pray for you.

The couple got married in 2017.
