WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DIE.

When you die, what happens next? Many people believe in life after death, despite our scientific views. A survey in the UK found that almost 60% of respondents believed in some form of afterlife. In the US, a Christian nation, a survey by Pew Research in 2015 showed that 72% of Americans believed in going to heaven after death.

54 percent of U.S. adults believe in hell, a place where those who have led bad lives and die without being sorry are forever punished. So, what happens when you die? Don't forget to subscribe and click the bell button to be part of our Notification Squad. Many people think that after death, we might go to a heavenly paradise or, on the contrary,

If we don't follow the ethics of our chosen religion, we may face eternal hellfire and have to beg to a bearded red man. Let's focus on what actually happens to the body when we die. Physicians determine death when the heart stops beating and there is no brain activity. Machines can prolong life temporarily. You can also have cardiac death, where the heart stops beating and blood no longer circulates.

It is truly remarkable that individuals who have experienced cardiac death and were revived have reported being conscious of their surroundings. Some have even described moving towards a radiant light during their near-death encounters. However, it is important to note that one can only be revived from clinical death within a limited timeframe of approximately 4-6 minutes. Once an individual reaches the light and crosses over, this marks the point of biological death - the end of the game, the ultimate conclusion, deceased.

Once deceased, the human body undergoes certain undignified processes. However, since you are no longer alive, this may not concern you. Upon death, the muscles in your body relax, including the sphincter muscles.

Consequently, any food you consumed, such as a triple Whopper and large fries, will be expelled from your body. Additionally, the gas present in your system may escape, resulting in an unpleasant odor. Furthermore, the urine stored in your bladder will also be released, making the process of dying quite messy. In the case of men, there is even a possibility of ejaculation occurring. On the other hand, women who were pregnant at the time of their death may experience a phenomenon known as "coffin birth," although this is relatively rare. Instead of the usual birthing process,

it is the gases in the abdomen that exert pressure and facilitate the delivery of the newborn. As the body eliminates its internal contents, it is not uncommon for air to escape through the mouth, resulting in emitted noises.

Nurses and individuals in close proximity to deceased individuals have frequently reported hearing audible moans and groans emanating from lifeless bodies.

However, these sounds are merely muscle contractions and do not indicate any signs of life.

In certain circumstances, such as when a person passes away lying on their stomach, blood may flow downwards and result in an erection.

This phenomenon occurs due to the pooling of blood in specific areas of the body, known as "livor mortis," which causes the dark purple color often seen on television.

These are some of the occurrences that can transpire shortly after death.

As blood ceases to circulate, the body gradually cools down, a process referred to as "algor mortis" or "death chill." The body will continue to cool until it reaches the same temperature as its surroundings. Rigor mortis, the stiffening of the body, typically sets in within 2-6 hours.

This phenomenon occurs as calcium enters the muscle cells. Without blood flow, cells begin to break down, leading to bacterial growth and subsequent decomposition. It may appear as though hair and nails have grown, but this is an illusion caused by the receding of the skin.

The skin will become loose and blisters will manifest on the body. Subsequently, putrefaction ensues, with bacteria and microorganisms commencing their feast upon you. The stench that emanates from your decomposing body will be as repugnant as anything you could have fathomed while alive. One individual vividly described the odor as a combination of "rotten eggs, feces, and a neglected toilet left out for an entire month, multiplied by a thousand. It is truly abominable.

" Gradually, everything that is soft will liquefy, while bones, cartilage, and hair will remain intact. By the time you are interred, decomposition will already be well underway. However, if embalmed and buried, the process of decomposition may be protracted.

If left above ground, within approximately a month, you will transform into a liquefied mess, serving as sustenance for insects, maggots, plants, and animals. According to experts, it may take 8-12 years underground before you are reduced to a mere skeleton.

After approximately 50 years, even your bones will merge with the Earth. It is important to note that the rate of decomposition is influenced by numerous factors,

too extensive to enumerate here. Nevertheless, the general idea is apparent. While some individuals recount their near-death experiences as awe-inspiring, this is not always the case. A Reddit user shared his experience, stating, "It was an abyss of darkness. No thoughts, no consciousness, nothing." Renowned French philosopher Rene Descartes posited that the soul exists separately from the body, a belief shared by many religions. It is plausible that something endures after death.

Friedrich Nietzsche contemplated the concept of eternal recurrence, wherein all energy or existence in the universe perpetually repeats itself ad infinitum. One lives the same life repeatedly, forever

Doesn't this realization compel you to live a virtuous life? In this regard, we can draw parallels to the Buddhist belief in the "Wheel of Samsara," where all souls and lives embark on a cyclical journey after death, albeit not in the exact same form.

This phenomenon is commonly referred to as reincarnation, which some individuals assert is interconnected.
