The Faceless Man

The old house stood on a hill, overlooking the town. It had been empty for years, ever since the last owner had died mysteriously. Some said the house was haunted, and that a faceless man roamed its halls at night.

One day, a group of teenagers decided to explore the house. They had heard the rumors, but they didn't believe them. They thought it would be fun to spend a night in the old house and see if anything happened.

The teenagers arrived at the house late at night. They broke in through a window and started to explore. The house was dark and dusty, and the air was thick with the smell of mildew. The teenagers giggled and joked as they went from room to room.

They came to a large room at the end of the hallway. It was the master bedroom. The teenagers entered the room and looked around. There was a large bed in the center of the room, and a dresser against the wall.

On the dresser was a framed photograph. The teenagers gathered around the dresser to look at it. The photograph was of a man and a woman. The man's face was blurred.

"Who's that?" one of the teenagers asked.

"I don't know," another teenager replied. "But he's kind of creepy."

The teenagers started to leave the room, but then one of them tripped and fell. He knocked over the dresser, and the photograph fell to the floor.

The teenagers bent down to pick up the photograph. When they turned it over, they saw that the man's face was no longer blurred.

The man in the photograph had no face.

The teenagers screamed and ran out of the room. They raced down the hallway and out of the house. They didn't stop running until they reached the town.

The teenagers told everyone what they had seen, but no one believed them. They said that the teenagers were just making up stories.

But the teenagers knew what they had seen. They knew that the faceless man was real.

Six months later

One of the teenagers, a girl named Sarah, was walking home from school when she saw a man standing in the woods. The man was tall and thin, and he was wearing a long black coat.

Sarah felt a chill run down her spine. She knew that it was the faceless man.

The faceless man started to walk towards Sarah. Sarah turned and ran. She ran as fast as she could, but the faceless man was faster.

The faceless man caught up to Sarah and grabbed her arm. Sarah screamed for help, but no one could hear her.

The faceless man pulled Sarah into the woods. He dragged her through the trees until they reached a clearing.

In the center of the clearing was a large black hole. The faceless man pushed Sarah into the hole.

Sarah fell for what seemed like an eternity. When she finally landed, she found herself in a dark and gloomy place.

Sarah wandered through the darkness for what seemed like hours. She was scared and alone.

Suddenly, Sarah saw a light in the distance. She ran towards the light.

When Sarah reached the light, she found herself back in the woods. She was standing in the same clearing where the faceless man had pushed her into the hole.

Sarah looked around, but the faceless man was nowhere to be seen.

Sarah ran out of the woods and back to town. She told everyone what had happened, but no one believed her. They said that she was just making up stories.

But Sarah knew what she had seen. She knew that the faceless man was real.

Sarah never went back into the woods again. But every night, she would have nightmares about the faceless man. She would dream of him dragging her back into the darkness.

And every night, she would wake up screaming.
