A Mother's worst nitemare
Starting off with my back story. I'm married with a happy little family of one step-daughter and three sons. I don't call her step-daughter because I have been there since she was 2 yrs old so in these stories she will be just daughter. Lately I have been having very vivid nightmares' all including my children in ways a mother would not like to see her babies. The stories might not add up because there isn't really good transitioning cause the stories are from different days about different times. I hope you enjoy these creepy stories because they did creep me out that I couldn't go to sleep until I made sure my kids were fine and everything was alright.

Compelled
Mesmerizing colors of autumn twilight break rays of the dying light upon the entry way. Standing before the majesty of a grand stairway that lingers up twisted dark wood rails stands a solemn figure. No words spoken, just the cold gaze from under old overgrown eyebrows from the figure draped in old grey robes. Stepping at a pace with steady reserve I find a cold steel chill run through me. The old oaken door creeks closed behind me as a faint sound of a bell chimes in the recesses of the upper landing.

Ghost! Was I hallucinating?
Ghost! Really! Hello everyone, I’m Phil and I have always been fascinated with all things Halloween since I was a kid (ghost, sorcerer, witches, etc.). In fact; you can say that I have OHD (Obsessive Halloween Disorder). What I have experienced during this event that I will share with you shortly did scare me, but it has also left me curious, intrigued by what is called; unexplained phenomena or …the supernatural.

Stories of a Life Not So Well Lived
Fear, a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. My palms become damp as I quicken my pace, my feet move faster and faster until I feel like I am running on air. My lungs are burning as my breath escapes me. The deafening sound of my heartbeat rings through my ears, firing off like gunshots in an empty room. Shop after shop, closed. My mind races as I continue the chase in which in I am obviously the prey. Closed, closed, closed, the signs mock me in my feeble attempt to seek asylum. I can hear him.

Identity Lost
With her first step into to the campus, she could feel the change coming her way. The cool breeze carried the scents of pines and oaks and various other trees that she didn’t know the names of, merged into a cocktail of fresh autumn morning. She made her way to the enrollment office as instructed by the email she had been reading over and over again for weeks. Many other students were walking past her. She started imagining all of the future friendships, romances and victories. She was feeling like she had conquered her own country with her talent and now it was time to conquer this one. Her mother’s voice echoed at the back of her head “My cube of talent”. She had seen a phone booth on a corner she walked past, she thought she would call her mum soon.

VR or AR?
When virtual reality headsets came in the 1990s by Nintendo and became a technology sensation in 2016, they only became more popular and more games began to develop. Promise Me
Promise me that when I die, you’ll bury me somewhere nice. Promise me you’ll stop by each week, fill a vase with fresh flowers each time. Promise that you’ll care for my stone like it was your own, bring each broken promise you made and unload it on my soul. Promise that you’ll still talk to me as if I was standing in front of you, heart still beating, lungs still breathing. You’ll tell me all of your worst secrets, your inner demons, your lies, cheats and regrets.

Spooky Sunday with Crystal Fortune
Hey guys, it’s your favourite neighbourhood spook detective here, Crystal Fortune! I know I don’t normally put out a blog post on a Sunday as it’s my slot on the radio but I am feeling a bit freaked out which is unusual and I thought you guys could help ground me a bit before I head out to the radio station.

Hired Hearts
I stare at the home in front of me, and I’m underwhelmed by the sheer amount of ordinary that stares back. Lincoln doesn’t live in some medieval torture castle, or a cement prison with no windows. It’s just an average house. He walks to the front door, unlocks it, and turns expectantly towards me. Having no other choice, I head into Lincoln’s home.

Dreamer Sphere
I am walking alone. I realize that I am always alone in situations where I wish I had someone. The silence of being alone is deafening. I would say I’m normally a quiet girl, therefore, the silence is usually peaceful to me. Here on the other hand, the silence isn’t peaceful. It is darker and eerie. Yet, remembering how I ended up here is the hardest part. I don’t remember where I was or what I was doing. I am unsure what time it is. I am scared. I feel like I should remember something, anything.
