The Horror of the Abandoned Dam
The man walked up to the abandoned dam, his footsteps echoing in the silence. He had heard stories about the dam, how it had been built in the early 1900s and had been abandoned after a flood destroyed it. Some people said it was haunted, but the man didn't believe in ghosts.

Shadow Of Misleading
Shadows of Misleading The city of Grayhaven was where the sun seldom got through the thick layer of mists that appeared to be unendingly ready above. Its thin rear entryways and transcending structures radiated a quality of secret, the ideal background for a story that would disentangle the most obscure corners of human instinct.

Folk Tales and Unusual Accounts (Part Five)
**Story One** This is a tale my uncle told me about his childhood. In a quiet village in Hunan, where my uncle lived, there existed an ancient tradition. Whenever someone passed away, it was customary to perform a night-time ritual to transport the deceased to their final resting place on the mountainside. Though this may sound eerie, the villagers regarded it as a way of showing respect and paying tribute to the departed souls.

Story One It was a day of persistent drizzle, and the entire village was enveloped in a grayish mist, creating an eerie atmosphere. A few friends and I decided to make use of our time after school and ventured to a grassy field just outside the village. In those times of scarcity, we knew there might be something edible there.

Folklore Chronicles of the Unusual (Part 1)
This is an eerie incident I personally experienced during my childhood. It was around 4 or 5 o'clock on a summer evening when I and a few companions were playing in a wild field outside the village. As the daylight gradually faded, we were still immersed in our play, with no thought of heading home.

Folklore Supernatural Stories Heard from the Older Generation（3）
故事一： My grandmother's third sister's husband, my third aunt's father-in-law, left me with a memory of someone who appeared quite honest and diligent. He was a simple, hardworking, and honest man who didn't talk much. One afternoon, he suddenly woke up from a nap and didn't go to work in the fields after his nap. Taking advantage of the moment when my third aunt's mother-in-law went to a neighbor's house to help them sew a new quilt, he inexplicably hanged himself in the small storage room where he kept odds and ends, and he hanged himself on the radiator while kneeling.

Folklore Tale of the Supernatural — Stories from the College Dormitory
To be honest, I've never really experienced any paranormal events from childhood to now. It might be because I've always had a forgetful nature since I was young, so even if I encountered something strange in my childhood, I didn't take it seriously and eventually forgot about it.
