Monsters and horror go hand in hand; explore horrific creatures, beasts and hairy scaries like Freddy Krueger, Frankenstein and far beyond.

To the Realm of the Dead
Victor Frankenstein walks the streets of Ingolstadt in a state of confusion, exaltation, and despair. He has brought to life the hideous result of his labors; his endless plumbing of the charnel houses in search of the decaying bits and pieces of bodies, the raw material, the noxious stuff from which he has formed his ersatz "man." God-like, he has been emotionally ascendant, selecting the features as beautiful, before recoiling in horror at the death-like ugliness, the hideous stupor of yellowed, abysmal carnality that marks the features of one who possesses a body, yet lacks a soul.

My Husband Didn't Smell Like Himself Anymore
It started one morning. He was already walking around the room as I woke up. When he saw me rub my eyes, he smiled and sat on the edge of the bed.

Every month, I pay to keep my children alive
I was a young Mom. One night of passion in college with the wrong man who didn’t want to be a Dad. Pregnancy wasn’t a blessing, or beautiful. It was invasive. Suffocating.

Dream of the Huntsman
Sleep paralysis again. Nothing new there. The rising panic, the inability to move, to get away, the sweating, needing to run, run, get away, get away! It’s coming, it’s coming for me, heart racing, choking because my lungs aren’t working, come on lungs, pressure on my chest can’t even scream no air can’t move we gotta move we gotta go!-

Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler
I could smell smoke. I thrashed around, trying to get out of the ropes. They gave a little, but the smoke was getting thicker. I coughed, coughed again.

There are places in the world that gradually develop strange reputations... abandoned hospitals, forgotten cemeteries, and lonely roads where drivers swear they have seen things they cannot explain. These settings often become the backdrop for stories that blur the line between fact and legend.

Nobody Looks at the Old Tree After Sunset — Final Part
The smile outside the window did not disappear. It remained there. Motionless. Watching. For a moment, Rafi forgot how to breathe.

The Nameless. Runner-Up in Out of the Dream Challenge.
I can feel my bun creeping down the back of my sweaty neck. It distracts me just enough for me to bump the box I’m carrying into the frame of Max's door. It's fine. This one looks big, but it only has stuffed animals and a few blankets inside.

'Flesh for Frankenstein' is a Depraved Nightmare
I have seen so many movie adaptations of Frankenstein throughout the years of my horror phase, but I think I have found the one that tops all of these films.

Fate: Where Hope Dies. Content Warning.
Do you ever find yourself in a low place? Where bills are piling and you find yourself drowning. Drowning in a world that feels built against you. A world that, for every stroke, another hand pushes your head further down. Making sure that you understand your place in the depths below. This is common for many, but some, like myself, decided to push and fight. Sometimes, however, fate has a way of reminding you of your place.
