Horror fiction that delivers on its promise to scare, startle, frighten and unsettle. These stories are fake, but the shivers down your spine won't be.
Brother is Ghost !
My home was worked in 1904. It is a solitary family home, wood outline setting on a substantial square establishment. I have been living here for around 12 years. Of the multitude of peculiar things that my kin and me have seen or heard in this house this one occasion is my top choice. This happened to my sibling. Around a decade prior my sibling and his dearest companions had begun a carport band playing generally "Spanish stone," elective music yet in Spanish. His companions could get together on Sunday evenings. They would rehearse into the afternoon, and they would typically punch out by 8 pm. This was the time I typically appeared and hit the sack, cause I worked the super late shift.

I was scared of the dark
This is a story I don't frequently tell. I guarantee, earnestly, that this has scarred me forever and in spite of the fact that I have investigated mental clarifications for what I heard and regular clarifications for what happened, they stay unacceptable.

Cupid's Kiss
Daphne had never been one to buy into all the Valentine’s Day craze. To her it was just another day and if you were lucky, you may get some chocolates. However, this year, something piqued her interest. Everyone at school had been going on about the new viral challenge. The aptly named Cupid’s Kiss Challenge. This wasn’t just any game though, this was a paranormal one. Daphne loved reading about the supernatural and has even played a game or two with no consequences. So, upon hearing about the Cupid’s Kiss Challenge, Daphne was intrigued.

Recollection
The wretched creature, little more than pale skin stretched over bones lay in the dirt. He dug ponderously by the dim light afforded to him by a small fire at the center of his cave dwelling. Flickering shadows danced across the back of the hunched figure as he dug , working diligently at the damp earth with his bare hands.

Carbaret
He visited me often. Painfully ordinary in his constitution, regardless he had all the charm needed to besott me. My highest affections were at his behest. My adorations were childlike. Wilfully silly. I’d often get the strangest urge to sit by his side and just look. He never talked. Every meeting with him was dead silent. My wife Camille disliked him. She stared at us with round, distrustful eyes, a curious vein throbbing on her forehead. I didn’t pay her much mind. She was a pretty woman. Unfortunately that’s all I can say in praise of her. She was boring. Prone to the deepest of introspection and deeper prejudice.

Amongst the Humans
She stood there looking at the blackened pile of rubble that had once been her entire life for eleven out of twelve months every year. She knew that the others were all gone forever, nothing left of them but ashes. If not for a twist of fate, she would have come to the same end. But it had been her month to go out and live amongst the humans, and that fact had saved her. With a shudder, Betty Black turned from the ruins of the building she had known so well to face the bustle of a typical city in the United States of 1960.

Christmas Eve '96
By midnight of Christmas Eve, much of Fuselier Street was hushed. The young children who were trying to stay up to meet Santa Claus had fallen asleep and were carried away to their rooms by their parents, who made their way to their beds almost immediately after tucking them in. This left the teenagers to make up the majority of people who were still up. Five of which were together at the Cormiers’ house. Henry, Carter, Ava, Hudson, and Paisley. They knew each other from school, and since the farthest distance between them was no more than fifty feet, they asked their parents if they could spend the night at Henry’s house, and luckily Henry’s parents approved as did most of the other parents. There were two more who were invited, Lucas and Caroline, who are siblings, but their parents wanted the family to be all together for Christmas with no split time or late starts to any traditions.

Real Ghost Stories You Won’t Want to Read at Night
The best apparition stories feel so genuine, so trustworthy, thus totally cooling that they basically promise you somewhere around one evening (while possibly not more) spent thrashing around while tuning in for squeaking floors and the sound of spooky groaning. Obviously, that is the oddity innate in apparition stories. The better they are, the more terrible you'll rest around evening time. This is valid regardless of whether you're a deep rooted otherworldly adherent you know, the kind of individual who has remembered insights concerning Halloween's starting points, knows the history behind Halloween beasts, and spends Friday the thirteenth perusing Ouija board stories.
