Humanity has always worshiped not humans, but animals, animal qualities — idols of strength and instinct, kings and mystics who need weak-willed, unresponsive souls. In order to rule the world, mystics inspire people that dark emotions are higher than reason, that knowledge comes in blind, unmotivated jerks and that it must be followed just as blindly, without questioning it. Kings rule by means of fangs and claws, their method is to take away, their goal is someone else's, their power relies solely on a club and guns.
