Everything started on October 11, 2020 when Tina an old lady from the village was outside telling the children a story like every afternoon but this time it was an evil Halloween story, “Medusa she said”she deserved to be punish no one can can disobey Athena! suddenly the sky turned black it was very windy and snakes were coming from the trees, Andre start laughing all loud she’s back she’s back but no one listen to him. The people from the village were terrified so they decided to go to the cave were Medusa died, they wanted to make sure everything was fine.

10/19/2020 A week has past and they never came back now the rumors are that during darkness a mysterious and terrifying voice is heard. People don’t know what to do they just pray Perseus to help them, but the reality is that Medusa is back powerful then ever and hungry for revenge no one can’t stop her.

Hi my name is Shandokan Irizarry A.K.A Shantel Diior this year my look for Halloween was inspired by the one and only Medusa, here are the materials and the steps on how you can also recreate your own Medusa also you can choose what color would you like in my case I wanted everything to be black.

Duct tape, foam, cardboard, black spray paint, blaze, diadem, feathers, silicone, hot glue, school glue, brushes, glitter scissors, wig cap, snakes.

First we put the blaze in the maniquí then with the duct tape cover all the blaze, Get the cardboard box and separate it, this cardboard came like this and is expanded which is nice to give a nice structure, cut it and give structure to the cardboard when gluing it, then paint everything black let it dry, add stones if you would like to and with a brush use school glue and cover all the tape so you can add the glitter. Once you do this let it dry and shake it to remove the extra glitter, Once you do this you will see if there are spots missing the glitter. When you’re done let it dry and continue with the next step.

Put the wig cap in the maniquí, cut the insulation foam and glue them to the wig cap then give them style that makes it look like if they were snakes and also add fake snakes to make it more realistic. When you’re done with the process you can take pictures that way you can see if you want it bigger or if there are any spots missing foam. If you don’t have a wig cap you can buy a cheap wig and remove the hair with scissors.

Separate the 2 layers of cardboard very gently so it has the structure that you see in the picture then cut the cardboard into the same form but a few of them longer then the other ones, glue them into the diadem and also make it look like a crown when you’re done glue the crown on the wig cap, once everything is dry you can go ahead use the black paint and paint everything at least twice so it gets the color that you want to add let it dry and continue with the glue and glitter do the same step dry and shake to remove the extra.

For the prosthetic I recommend you to use spirit gum that way they will be secured, the head piece you can glue it with the hair spray “it has to be glue” or you can also use Krazy glue and there’s no problem with that I use it all the time. For the body painting you can create your own stencils for the scales with plastic just take a good piece and start cutting the inside to the style you would like and do your face with makeup and contact lenses for the final look.

Hope you guys like it. If you do it please tag me I would love to see your creation 💪🏼🙂
