If that doesn't scream "epic movie," I don't know what does. Now, as a responsible adult, I must say that if I found a hole in my yard, my first instinct would not be to investigate further. But hey, these kids have a thirst for adventure that I can only admire.

Doctor Winters Forgetfulness Clinic- The Drink Took Him
“I just don’t think I can live with this. I need it gone, or it’ll drive me to drink.” Dr. Winter tapped the edge of a spoon against the tea cup, and the sound it made was like a clarion bell. She brought the cup over to the man sitting across from her, taking him in with a study to glance. He was different from her usual clientele. The man looked as if his demons were far behind him, all save this one thing he couldn’t quite exercise. He wore a crisp, white button up shirt, was clean shaven, and looked as though he had a handle on his life. He looked as though he ran most mornings, perhaps hit the gym for more than three months out of the year, and other than his eyes, which roved like a scared horses, he seemed very well put together.

Chapter Three: A Heart Walking Around Outside Its Body. Content Warning.
Yvette Yvette Medina sits in the ratty, green recliner staring out of the smudged window in her living room on South Salina Street. It is 4:04 AM and her son, Nico, still isn’t home. He told her that he would be here almost eight hours ago. She had fought with her husband, Rick, for days, trying to convince him to let Nico come stay for a while. He finally relented and now Nico hadn’t shown. Rick would be mad. There would be no end to the “I told you so” comments. Hopefully there would be no more abuse, but Yvette isn’t going to count on that. There is always abuse.

Horror Classics: Dracula's Daughter (1936)
To say that 1931's Dracula was influential would be an understatement of note. There are still films being made about him and bearing his name in their titles. With that in mind, I thought we'd take a look at the first sequel to the 1931 film - Dracula's Daughter.
