Peephole
I don’t know why I became so obsessed with the peephole in my solid wooden door. It’s nothing special really, just a hole in a door on a street. An average street. My life is not exciting; I am an insomniac and an agoraphobic, so I am awake through the early hours and rarely go out. The last time was three weeks ago, and that was with a close friend by my side.

Return of the Mothman
In the year 2009. Jason Rivers had arrived in Mason County to shoot the next episode of his web series. He was a content creator that had made a name for himself by doing solo investigations of mythical creatures. He had made dives looking for the loch ness monster and countless hikes looking for the elusive Sasquatch. He would usually stay on location 3 nights to get enough footage and action to cover a 20-minute episode. His audience insisted that he go after more mythical creatures. That is what he was doing here. He had amassed the audience he had because he listened to his audience. He wanted to give them what they wanted. Mason County was home to the Mothman. A creature that first appeared in the sixty’s and was credited for taking down a bridge that killed 46 people. This was a creature that brought bad luck to the people that saw it.

Happy Halloween to all my creepy and crawly lovers! I personally love Halloween and have always enjoyed the creepy, cold atmosphere of October. Especially when all the good horror movies start coming out. Me being a huge horror movie buff, I always like to keep the classics on deck, so I decided I'd share some of my favorite horror and thriller movies with you lovely people. My Supernatural Experiences
I have a sprit in my room at my parent's house. His name is Billy Ghost, and he's not harmful in the slightest, but he is super annoying. He would always change the direction of air flow on my air conditioner to blow on me after I turned it the other way. Like I said, super annoying, how did Billy come into my life you may ask, well, I'm not 100% sure on that, but I do have a theory or two.

Playing With Fire
The floorboards creaked as I walked across them, making my way to the tiny window. Cobwebs hung from the ceiling, and dust covered the floor. My breath came in shuttering gasps, thanks to the hike up the lighthouse's steps. It had required much less effort to climb up them 40 years ago when Joey, George, Molly, and I had snuck up here to have some of her dad's beers.

What Makes a Good, Entertaining Monster Movie?
One thing a movie fan knows for certain is that the horror genre is never going out of style. It always has kept a steady flow throughout most of the medium of film’s history. In spite of the fact that it experienced some lackluster decades, trends going in and out of fashion, and variant box office prospects. As long as there are movies or tv shows being made, novels and short stories being written and published, there will always be a demand for it. What can I say? People love, get kicks out of, and pay millions of dollars at the movie theatre box office, on DVD/Blu- Ray sales, or subscriptions to streaming services, all to be scared shitless! So the market will always be there.

DUNGEON AND DRAGONS THE SPOOKY TAIL
Many years ago my daughter was living in Seattle Washington with her husband. He was playing the game Dungeons and Dragons and he got my daughter to play it with him. I live in Alaska and had no idea she was playing this game with her husband. They were playing it for a long period of time. This game was awful and it had a lot of terrible things in it! It was just like the Ouija Board Game THE DEVILS GAME!

'Nothing Scares Me Anymore'
Blood, guts, demons, or ghosts, the content doesn't seem to matter. People can't enjoy horror films the way we once did. And it's our own fault. Thanks in part to social media, we experience a near-constant stimulation of the reward-center in our brains which could easily be a leading factor... BUT the causes might even be simpler than that. More often than not we're turning to streaming sites and their original shows for our horror fix, but we're still here, still craving shivers. With over-advertising from production companies, overwhelming music, and chaotic realities, humanity at large is unable to enjoy horror these days.
