The Atonement Of the 13th Order
1: The Sacrificial Lamb Josiah Washington did not care to celebrate birthdays, or even holidays for that matter. Why should today be any different? “It’s just another day” he would firmly state when offered the customary, “Happy Birthday." Although this day started off very peculiar. He awoke at 6am with Five Finger Death Punch blaring over the speakers on his headboard. He jumped up and slapped the alarm base off his nightstand. Then he heard a loud "thud" on the porch. "What the hell was that?" Josiah wondered as he approached his heavy entry door. He unbolted the locks and opened his door. Nobody was there. He opened the screen door and looked down his driveway. He looked down then and saw an odd wooden box with riveted steel bands around it. An ancient locking device secured the front hasp. Atop the box sat a wax sealed document that looked to be written on skin. "Vellum", Josiah says as he fingers the material. The crimson red wax bore the letters E.W. "This is weird", he says as he snapped the wax seal. He suddenly felt very dark and angry. He could hear voices and growls all around him but saw nothing. The mirror by his front door shattered outward in a shower of fragments.

Me and my Night Terrors
Let me start by saying this: I don't know if these are real, or if this is just my subconscious loving to stay awake! Throwing nightmare parties and the only one that's invited is me. Since the age of 13, I would have these vivid nightmares(which I will detail in coming stories) where I am either paralyzed from head to toe or endlessly getting mangled and mawed by Shelly and Mr Nails ( will get to them in the future) from hours on end. While all the while... Him, just stands over me... watching, staring, and orchestrating this symphony of torturing.

George, Part 1
Let me tell you about George. I first met him in 2002 when I was working my night job as a waitress in this seedy little diner on the edge of town. It wasn't the best job in the world...hell, it wasn't even a good job, but it paid the bills. Anyway, at three a.m. on the dot, in strolls this grungy looking man. He took a seat at a booth near the back wall and I immediately went to get his order.

Ch 3
Drops of icy liquid dripped onto my forehead. I struggled to open my eyes, but they stayed glued shut in fatigue. I felt more exhausted than when I had fallen asleep that night. Finally, two more drips and the sound of creaking hinges pried my eyelids apart. I blinked, still dazed, and strained to lift my head to the source of the sounds. My limbs remained unresponsive, too heavy for me to lift, and terror struck my heart as my eyes drifted to my room door.
