The Robbery Gone Wrong Took My Wife But It Saved MY Family
Ryan is a down on his luck good hearted square by the book type of guy. He’s an MBA but in his youth he was not so wise and got into trouble with the law and earned himself a felony and it’s hindered his financial status dramatically but he’s making it comfortably but he is not content. He stays optimistic and Ryan often says to himself “if I could just get $20,000 at one time I could start a whole new life.” I’d be able to put a nice down payment on house and start a pop-up restaurant with cannabis themed food. As Ryan is thinking and talking out loud walking to his car he noticed a man laying down on bleeding badly in the street. Ryan then runs over to the unknown man bleeding in the street.

Vine
The sun peeked over the morning hills. Manny Panbroke's coffee maker was hissing and sputtering coffee into his cup. A fine, reassuring sound, he thought. Manny rustled the newspaper at the table, glancing over his shoulder at the kitchen door. Try to keep the sounds down, he thought. This was his time alone.

Dad Has A Concern I'll Get Scared If I'm Left Unaccompanied In The House
Grandma gives a backhanded wave, "she'll never be alone." I like being alone in my Dad’s childhood bedroom. I never unpack. I toss my rucksack in front of the built-in closet and belly-flop on the bed to bounce the bed-springs. Each year I hear the adults agree on various rules for me.

Obsidian Order
Clouds of exertion bellowed from the young man's lips in the winter air as his legs made leaps and bounds over slick concrete. Heavy flakes of snow swirled through the streets and skyscrapers. He stumbled on a step, recovering long enough to slide into the doors of St. Patrick's Church in Manhattan. The clamorous thud aroused someone within, the door cracking open to see Jacob Bryant laid out on the narthex.

The Banshee of Ballymore
There is a rocking chair in a house in the seaside town of Ballymore. As the walls decay, the chair remains, vacant and yet moving. Sometimes just for a moment, a flash and then it is over, leaving anyone who saw it to wonder if it even happened at all. There are times, when the wind coming from the sea howls and seems to settle on that house and then perhaps, you might see her. The owner of the empty chair. She sits, in her white gown, rocking back and forth, combing long, thin and wet black hair with bony fingers and fixing dead eyes on a fireplace that no longer burns, moving the chair back and forth, back and forth with dirty feet. There are times, when the wind coming from the sea howls and then perhaps, you might hear her. As she rocks, as she combs, as the wind howls, she wails and the wails become the howling and the howling wind carries a name to the people of Ballymore and they know, that death is coming.

The Department of Material Affairs
"I didn't order this," I said, confused, as the shady looking delivery guy held the simple, brown package out, toward me. "Is this your name, and address?" he asked, as he seemed to glare at me from behind the too-dark sun glasses. I leaned from left to right, in an attempt to catch a glimpse of what hid behind those darkened lenses.
