Come Out
Come out, come out wherever you are there is no use hiding I will always find you in the end,” a boy who looked like he was a couple of hundred years too far in the future said in a sing-song voice, a demented grin plastered on his face and glinting silver knives in his hands.

Requiem
Adalia was certain there was someone peering into her window. She had awoken at an ungodly hour, well past nightfall. Frost covers the glass windowpane in a gossamer web, absorbing and reflecting the moonlight in its tiny streams. Violet, Adalia’s cat, defensively arches; she grates out a predatory hiss that is at odds with her noticeable smell of fear.

Bury Me Low
ACT ONE He had fucked her. That much was true. He would fuck her multiple times over the course of her life, and while her family knew, they did nothing to try and stop him. Her father had tried at first, finding a knife to the gut and a broken jaw to be the end result of such heroics. After he was let out of the hospital, he never tried to intervene again. He would look at his daughter with sorrow in his eyes before eventually leaving, stepping out of her life whenever she was twelve and never returning. Even though she hated him for it, she couldn’t quite blame him, either. If she had a chance to leave, she would take it, too. It was already too late for her, however, and she knew that. She’d known that ever since the first time anything happened. The first time anything nonconsensual happened.

Jack's Fortune
It was dark and rain was pelting the windshield making an entrancing rhythm with the wiper blades, as Jack somberly drove down the highway. She pulled into her usual stop. It was late, but that wasn't why she was tired; some people don't go quietly, it had been a tough job tonight.

The Game
Some games aren't meant for children. Alone in a park and under a tree, The Young Man was fairly inconspicuous. If you dared to play The Game, you had to make sure no one ever found out. The Game was turning people against each other and everyone was wary. An alert sounded on his phone. He looked up to see the few people that were also in the park receiving the same alert. Local authorities were asking for any information on the book to be brought forward to police. T he Young Man refocused his attention back to what was in his hands. The little black book had a slight shine and the leather felt smooth. A deep breath was taken and a decision was reached. He was a broke college student and he needed the money. He was going to play despite the risk. He opened the smooth cover and saw a blank page. Slowly, words began to appear.

Where All The Things Meet
Deep into the part of the forest where no rationally intelligent man or woman would ever go. Far beyond the most distant trees the eyes could see – there lived a man. Lionel Warstar was the only name I ever heard him called. If you were asking me – and only if you were asking – I’d tell you his name was Demon, Satan, Terror. For some who walk the earth the mere fact of their birth was a punishment. Not just to them but us all.

Sigil of Fortunes
I am not crazy. I have come to my conclusion through an unnatural, yet calculated and deliberate set of events. But it is in me now and I am barely coherent enough to think these thoughts. I’ve managed to decipher bits and pieces, as well as a full single page of the tattered and grotesque thing. Asymmetrical groups of symbols now scroll across my mind’s eye with increasing speed and irregularity. Each group overlaying the previous as if words written in a foreign alphabet were somehow poured out onto a page, falling at random, juxtaposed angles in a heaping, formless, hieroglyphic mess.

Questionable Intentions
The musty room creeps up into Clayton’s nostrils as light seeps in through the half-opened curtain in the crappy room he’s been holed up in for the last three weeks. He coughs lightly as he opens his allergen-irritated eyes and then lets out three heaving sneezes as he sits up in the four-poster ‘luxury framed’ bed that feels no closer to luxury than the dodgy antique salesman his Grandfather had no doubt bought it from.

Surprise
“I should definitely not be doing this alone.” Sara thought as she slid into the driver’s seat and pulled the door closed behind her. “Whatever I need to get out of the house.” She had been working remotely for a little over a year now with little to no human interaction outside of her husband Ryan. Sara is a text-book introvert: outgoing and personable but requiring 72 hours alone for every one hour spent with other humans. Even still, some days she swore those four walls inched closer together every time she looked up from her computer screen.
