Voiceless
I have forgotten the sound of her voice. Having to bear that knowledge brings me more pain than I could ever verbally express. I have forgotten the sound of her voice. Oh, my God. How could this have happened? When did this happen? Ever since childhood, I knew I would never forget my Nonna. I would never, ever forget her. I would forever cherish her and keep her at the forefront of my heart and mind.

The Little Knight
The night was quiet for once. The night was quiet, and welcoming, and calm. There were seldom nights like this one. The air was thick and warm. A gentle breeze shuffled through the old wooden porch and the empty rocking chairs that sat the giants swayed back and forth solemnly. Billions of twinkling stars shone in the dark blue ocean of a sky, and the moon acted as a wise old guardian to the landscape below. There were animals of all sorts about, some that glowed and some that did not; some that flew and some that stayed grounded. All were thankful. All were at peace.

Bury Me Low
ACT ONE He had fucked her. That much was true. He would fuck her multiple times over the course of her life, and while her family knew, they did nothing to try and stop him. Her father had tried at first, finding a knife to the gut and a broken jaw to be the end result of such heroics. After he was let out of the hospital, he never tried to intervene again. He would look at his daughter with sorrow in his eyes before eventually leaving, stepping out of her life whenever she was twelve and never returning. Even though she hated him for it, she couldn’t quite blame him, either. If she had a chance to leave, she would take it, too. It was already too late for her, however, and she knew that. She’d known that ever since the first time anything happened. The first time anything nonconsensual happened.
