She's still protecting him
Ever heard of the lonely widows' bridge? It's said to be a ghost story around… *knocking on window* sorry… that blasted knocking… anyway, the bridge. Yeah, there is a bridge near my town that no one goes to, it's off the main street if you keep going and you can’t miss it. When I first heard about the story of it, I thought that it was just some ploy to… *knocking on window* a ploy to… scare children. I didn’t believe it of course and after a couple of beers, I and my friend went to go and check it out. If we only knew what we were getting ourselves into… I didn’t know it would come to this…

Infinity Wheel: Chapter 3
The mustache was limp. There was no helping it now. The wax was used up and Cosmo had resorted to styling it with lard. Sometimes the lard-coated hairs hung in a sad Fu Manchu over his mouth. Cosmo would endeavor to speak only to inhale them and cough them out. Although the texture was horrid, the taste was not all that bad. Still, it was infuriating. “Curse these bucolic tiny villages and their backwards cretins devoid of niceries!” he thought.

The Old Woman and the Burning Candle in the Window, part 2
Hello again friends, welcome to my second installment of this crazy tale. I've gone back to the house since the first part was written, and let me tell you, the amount of negative energy surrounding the place had me on edge the entire time. So, upon my arrival to the house, there was a gross smell, kind of like rotten meat mixed with mothballs. To me that only means one thing, a demonic presence, I took a short tour of the property to see if the smell was just in the garage or all around the house, and the smell was around the house but strongest in the garage, kitchen, master bedroom, and the greenhouse. The lady I had sit with, her daughter gave me a set of keys incase I wanted to get something from the house, like cookware or other bits and pieces of furniture they couldn't take with them when they moved, so I set out to take a look around.

Shaky Leg Mary
When I was in college, I worked for a local hospital, one of the largest in the North Georgia area outside of Atlanta. I won't name drop because they probably don't want to be mentioned, but this hospital was huge. I'd worked clerical jobs in a few other hospitals, and you could have easily fit three of my previous facilities in this place. That being said, it was a mismatched monstrosity of old and new. The new Medical Promenade might have been a modern architectural marvel, but areas like the ER and the admin hallway still looked much as they had in nineteen seventy-two. It's a place at war with itself, constantly changing but also continually staying the same.

Happy Wife Inc., Ch. 1
[BETHANY] On the morning of their wedding day, they projected tornadoes. They had planned to be married in the rose gardens on her grandmother’s farm. It had been planted by Bethany’s great-great-great grandfather for his daughters when a company he owned found success shipping wood pellets. It was an obscure business that had long since been sold, but the grandeur of the family home remained to stand witness to the economic success that was William Brage. Past storms had damaged the home, which they had repaired to a more modern era, and had destroyed the outbuildings, which had never been rebuilt, but the rose garden had never seen any appreciable damage.

The Thought of It
The Thought of It It was late one night when the thought first came to my mind. A mind whose body was weak and weary, but growing stronger with this thought. This thought that paid no attention to the others in my mind, and took complete command of any others in my mind. Yes, it was late that fateful night when I had this thought for the very first time; a thought so simple and seemingly inevitable that it was baffling me as to why I hadn’t thought it before. I lay in thine chamber whilst all I heard were noises. ‘Twas the noises of the dark which fueled this thought of mine. Yes, ‘twas the noises of the night, the voices of the night, which fueled this, thought. Indeed, ‘twas the noises of the night, the voices of the night, which fueled this thought, this dark and sinister thought.

Four friends
It was raining that Saturday night; I was spending a great time with some of my friends in a restaurant. It was almost midnight and the restaurant was about to close so we had to leave. We came out, and we called each other good bye and then I walked towards my car. I went inside the car and started the car and started going towards my house. He had a long day and was really tired. The driving distance from here to my house was about an hour.

You Conjure it, You Bought it...
“You conjure it, you bought it!” is a tagline that I often like to use when lecturing on the paranormal in my role as a paranormal investigator. I know that it sounds mean to some as most do not deliberately try to let lose an unfriendly entity in their home, or even worse, a demonic entity, however, it is an easy thing to do. This concept applies not just to Spirit boards ad Ouija boards, but also to known “haunted” items or objects removed from known haunted locations.

The Transforming. Top Story - January 2024.
Everybody was turning, one by one. The masses were scared. The town folk could be seen going into the town's Reverence Hall, clutching their soul spheres in their shaking hands. I followed them in, curious. I ignored the screaming around me, the confusion, as everybody swarmed like hornets being stirred up.

BLACK
Sarah finished the dishes in the white porcelain sink and looked out the kitchen window toward her neighbor’s apartment. She could see her neighbor sitting alone at his card table, draped with a white sheet, eating his TV dinner. Their apartments were so close, she could read the package of his meal; Salisbury steak with green peas and instant mashed potatoes. It was a warm summer’s night and Sarah could feel the sweat dripping down her back, making her wife-beater tank top cling to her body like a small child to his mother’s leg. She ripped off a paper towel from the roll that lay next to the sink and wiped her hands, then wiped down the cracked white tiled countertops. As she stood there she could feel the day weighing heavy on her body like a weighted blanket that had been draped over her shoulders. She thought about all the things that still needed to be done before she went to bed and wished she had someone to help her, but that someone always came with a price she reminded herself; a price she was not willing to pay. She’s made that mistake once, twice, three times before and had paid her dues. Now she has chosen to be alone and carry the weighted blanket like the cape of a Royal Queen. Deep in thought, Sarah heard a small voice yell out,
