Natasha Marie AguirrePublished 3 years ago in HorrorMovie Review: 'Saw 4' Showed How a Great Series Maintains Momentum
Saw celebrates humanity while exploring its degradation and destruction. The point of the series has always been about the character of Jigsaw, played by Tobin Bell, teaching the lecherous and lethargic to appreciate the gift of life. It's a bizarre and ingenious idea for a horror film and, in its fourth installment, Saw brought both closure and new beginnings to its stories of human misery, sadness and redemption.
Sean PatrickPublished 3 years ago in HorrorMovie Review: 'Spiral' Doesn't Quite Live Up to the Legacy of Saw'
It’s rather appropriate that Chris Rock would use the Saw horror franchise as a means to send a message regarding Police Reform. The Saw franchise is one of the most thoughtful and conscientious franchises in the history of American horror. The film's messages regarding valuing your life and paying dearly for your sins make it one of the strangest and most fascinating franchises Hollywood has ever produced.

"It's a shame to see you look so vulnerable, darling" "You are nothing but a coward, we both know it" He looked coldly down at me as his men held me up in front of a moss covered wooden door. The shed looked delict and the scent of dried blood lingering so heavily in the air my mate’s scent was almost all but masked. "Cheerful" He chimed before leading the way to heaped mass on the worn floor as his men throw me on the ground upon returning behind. His claw lazily scooping up some melted sliver from a jar on the table beside him onto his claws tip. Before he hovered it inches from Dean's throat. "Is that everything you wanted?" I snarled at the threat. My nails digging into my palms weakly fighting my instinct to defend my mate only now roughly two metres from me.

"Yes, I realize the Marquis de Sade is the fetus aborted by God."--Yukio Mishima, Madame de Sade (1965) Madame de Sade is a play by Yukio Mishima, a Japanese playwright of no small repute. Mishima is a legendary character, a man who, before committing ritual suicide during an armed assault on a Japanese military installation, in which he took the commandant hostage, forged a brilliant and shining pathway (what we in the West call a "career") as an author and poet, an actor, model, political philosopher, filmmaker, mystic and universally hailed genius. His shining brilliance is offset by his radical politics, which were fanatically nationalistic, opposed to Western decadence, bourgeois capitalism as well as communism, and the erosion of what he considered traditionally and purely Japanese, fearing that his nation would devolve into a "rootless people."
Movie Review: 'Amityville Poltergeist'
In the competition for worst movie of 2021, it’s thus far no contest. The bizarre cannibal rape movie, Scavenger remains untouched as the worst thing I’ve seen this year. Amityville Poltergeist is the one movie thus far that can come close to challenging the title. Amityville Poltergeist however, is not nearly as hateful in it’s terribleness as Scavenger is. Amityville Poltergeist is more incompetent than Scavenger, somehow, but the fact that it doesn’t feature an unending sexual assault and appears to have a three act structure, keeps Scavenger ahead in pure awfulness.

Cattle mutilations are, to believers, a surefire sign of extraterrestrial activity. The phenomenon has been occurring since roughly 1606 when an outbreak of it was reported in the official court records of James I of England. Since then, there have been various incidents, usually in outbreaks of multiple bovine victims. But what exactly is happening t the cattle? And why?
