House No. 81, Trieu Noi, Beijing is known as the "Four Great Evils of the East", that is, one of the four Oriental houses with the heaviest weapons, carrying many sinister rumors that make everyone worried, curious and can't help but panic every time it's mentioned.

House No. 81 was built in 1910 as a language training center and resting place for American Catholic missionaries. However, by 1990, the house was abandoned and no one came here anymore. By 2000, when the technological age began to develop, haunted rumors about this house suddenly circulated online and made people believe that this was truly a "fierce house" in Beijing.

In 2014, famous Chinese director Diep Wei Min decided to make a horror movie "House No. 81, Kinh Thanh" and was filmed in this house. This movie was received a lot of praise from the audience. The performance of the main "witch" in the film by Lam Tam Nhu made the audience shudder and believe that this place really has hidden weapons as rumored.

There are many haunted rumors about this house. Therefore, every Halloween, everyone is curious and try to challenge their bravery by coming here to see what this place is like? Looking at old images, they can be seen that the house was built in European style. The outside is surrounded by walls overgrown with ivy and the windows are all broken and rotten. The inside is desolate giving a very ghostly and gloomy feeling.

Among the countless rumors, there are 3 stories that have been passed around from year to year and make people panic when they think about them. The first story is about the death of a woman believed to be an officer's wife. This person, for unknown reasons, hanged himself in the house. After her death, strange phenomena often appeared in house number 81. Every night when a storm comes or on full moon days, people around will hear very pitiful cries, and even the sound of bottles being thrown and broken.

The second story took place more recently around 2000. At that time, this house was abandoned and the government had someone rebuild it. One summer night in 2001, when some workers at the construction site had had too much to drink and went to the apartment basement to find a toilet. They suddenly saw a secret place, sealed with bricks. Unable to hide their curiosity, they decided to go in to see what was inside and never came back out.

The third story is embellished as follows, a reporter from CCTV did a special report on this house. Some people said that the government had planned to demolish the house several years ago because of many bad haunted rumors. However, during the demolition process, some workers also disappeared for no reason, and from then on they did not dare to break ground again.

After these rumors spread, many people who wanted to verify the truth approached the Beijing police for clarification. Representative of the Dong Thanh Police Department - Tham Chan Vu said that he searched the records 10 years ago and did not find out about the workers disappearing in 2000.

Even the fact that people say that an explorer died in this house in 2007 is just a baseless rumor. “If there is such a case, the public security agency will certainly keep a record. This is just a rumor, please don't panic" he shared.

In fact, the appearance of the house is quite gloomy, which has created conditions for many people to spin baseless stories. In 2016, this house was officially closed and repairs began. The government plans to build it into a tourist attraction. However, I wonder who would bravely step in here to visit if they had heard about those rumors?
