The "Faith Healer" Who Performs Exorcisms and Healing

By 徐金升Published 10 months ago 3 min read

This is something I personally experienced. Although I've always believed in these mystical matters, when it comes to "faith healers" performing exorcisms and healing, I often thought there might be coincidences or elements of money-making schemes involved. However, when someone close suddenly becomes possessed, I felt compelled to believe...

A colleague's cousin, who is sixteen years old, experienced a peculiar situation during her middle school years. While in class, she began to sweat profusely, growing weak day by day. She suffered from dizziness, blurred vision, and general discomfort. Her family took her to various doctors, but they couldn't diagnose the problem. Eventually, they began to suspect she might be afflicted by some kind of spiritual entity. They sought the help of a "faith healer." Upon arriving at the healer's place, she was told that the entity was too powerful for the healer to deal with. However, some methods of protection were given for them to try. After implementing these methods at home, her physical condition indeed improved suddenly. Unfortunately, the discomfort returned after a few days. This cycle repeated several times, until one day, the young cousin started speaking in a different voice. She uttered, "They are no match for me. Why bother seeking their help!"

Her family, feeling helpless, set up an altar at home and began offering prayers. Since her possession, the young cousin stopped attending school and stayed home every day. Due to her age, her family discouraged her from diagnosing others.

When my colleague shared this story with me, she also mentioned that her cousin forbade her mother from visiting their house, claiming that there was too much negativity there. As a result, my colleague's family eventually moved.

There was another incident where my colleague's mother visited the cousin's home. While sitting on the sofa and watching TV together, they engaged in casual conversation about the male lead in a TV drama, praising his handsome appearance. Unexpectedly, the cousin chimed in with disdain, saying, "You haven't seen my master. He is so much more handsome. Incredibly handsome." She then pointed at an empty seat opposite them and said, "Even the three of them are not as handsome as he is..." My colleague's mother was so frightened she quickly found an excuse to leave.

The same colleague had a childhood experience when she went to a neighbor's grandmother's house to offer New Year's greetings. This grandmother also worshiped some kind of deity. There was an altar in the room. When my colleague entered, she was inexplicably drawn to the altar and even hugged it. The grandmother forcibly pulled her away, addressing the altar, "Don't strangle her so tightly. Do you want to choke her to death?"

Hearing these stories made my hair stand on end...

When my colleague was a child, she lived at her maternal grandmother's house, which had a pigsty beside the toilet. One night, while she was using the toilet, a pig suddenly let out a loud scream, startling her. At the time, she didn't think much of it. However, afterward, she began to experience persistent vomiting, diarrhea, and high fever. The elderly believed that she had been scared out of her soul. They took her to a "faith healer." This faith healer seemed to have a connection with some snake spirit. Normally, she was a gentle and kind old lady. However, when she went into a trance, she would light a cigarette in a censer, and as the cigarette burned out, her eyes would suddenly roll up, and her voice would change... My colleague was terrified on the spot.

The faith healer taught her mother a set of incantations. They were instructed to remove all chopsticks from the kitchen, stand them upright in bowls, recite the incantation, and then open the door. Astonishingly, the chopsticks remained standing upright in the bowls. Just after the incantation was completed, even before opening the door, the chopsticks suddenly all fell. Miraculously, my colleague's condition improved instantly...

My mother mentioned that I had been scared when I was a child and had a persistent fever. My grandmother had also used the method of standing chopsticks, reciting a set of words at the doorstep, and my condition improved quickly... I must admit, it's quite extraordinary.
