BROKEN MIRROR

Are you a broken mirror? Because even in pieces, you're still reflecting beauty.

Once there was a young girl named Lily who lived in a small town on the outskirts of a dense forest. She was known for her beauty and kind heart, and everyone in the town loved her. But there was one thing about Lily that was a little bit strange: she had a fascination with mirrors.

Everywhere she went, Lily would look for a mirror to gaze into. She loved the way her reflection looked back at her, and she spent hours each day admiring herself in the mirror. Her parents didn’t think much of it, assuming it was just a passing phase. But as Lily grew older, her fascination with mirrors only grew stronger.

One day, while exploring the forest, Lily stumbled upon a small cottage hidden among the trees. It was old and run-down, with vines crawling up the walls and the shutters hanging off their hinges. But Lily felt drawn to it, and she cautiously approached the door. To her surprise, it was unlocked, and she pushed it open with a creak.

Inside, the cottage was dark and musty, and Lily could barely see a thing. But as her eyes adjusted to the darkness, she noticed something strange: the walls were covered in mirrors. Large, ornate mirrors of all shapes and sizes, reflecting each other in an endless maze of reflections.

Lily was amazed. She had never seen so many mirrors in one place before. She walked around the room, admiring her reflection in each one. But as she gazed into the mirrors, she began to notice something strange: her reflection wasn’t quite right. It was as if the reflection was a little bit twisted, a little bit off.

Lily shook it off, assuming it was just a trick of the light. But as she continued to explore the cottage, she began to feel a sense of unease. The mirrors seemed to be everywhere, reflecting her every move. And no matter where she looked, she couldn’t escape her own reflection.

As the sun began to set, Lily realized she needed to leave the cottage and make her way back home. But as she turned to go, she saw something that made her blood run cold. In one of the mirrors, she saw a figure standing behind her. A figure that wasn’t there in real life.

Lily spun around, but there was no one there. She looked back at the mirror, but the figure was still there, watching her with cold, dead eyes. Lily tried to run, but her feet seemed to be rooted to the spot. She was trapped, surrounded by mirrors that showed her a distorted version of reality.

Days turned into weeks, and Lily never returned home. The townspeople searched for her, but they could find no trace of her. It was as if she had disappeared into thin air.

Years went by, and the old cottage in the forest became a legend. Some said it was haunted by the ghosts of the mirrors, while others claimed that Lily was still trapped inside, her soul lost in the endless maze of reflections.

And so, the legend of Lily and the mirrors lived on, a cautionary tale for those who are too vain and too curious for their own good. For in the end, the mirrors always win.
