What is history?

Why is history there?

By Ekta K. Kalra Published about a year ago 3 min read
On the globe breathes my motherland!

when history is wiped off the ground

there on that soil

similar failures erupt

dissolution of knowledge

is death

and

death hurts more

You didn’t turn rich

over night

but if you do

that history

remains in your mind

the thoughts need space

to bring you back home

too

when you child falls

a little height more

the pain shrinks your eyes

from its full blown

but who knows it all

the memories will

save the child

from falling again

ever again

this is life

either refrain

or

accept with pain

the truth of

history

remains

the truth of

past days

remains

history affects

the race of life

only if you apply right

say a different person’s past

is less applicable

than the current person

in actual play

life hurts more

if we do not learn

From

what we know

life begins

with playing in mud

but ends with mixing

with same

it‘s insane

it’s insane

not to learn from history

again

and again

But to apply someone else‘s

past

on someone other

in the present day

is a mistake again

is a blunder again

the similarity of situation

is another step

which stops us

from accepting what

they had

and denying

what they have

it’s like tallying

the nephew genes

with the husband you have

similarities means little

thus

when things have changed

from head to toe

the person changed

the situation unmet

history gives indication

doesn’t makes happy or

puts on unrest

***

the history smells the stones

kept on the corner of home

They know when

And what is tomb

History smells the routes

And tells ancestors fed

On which fruits

Which are medicinal weeds

History has a home

And makes available

Information of every hot and cold

life moves on

creating its own history

that’s what you call

experience made smart

a human ordinary

otherwise

with no scope

life is attire

satire

and home

all need history

to be made alone

helping you stand

even without home

history creates you

your present day

Every historic thing of

yesterday and value

created your every today

history Is culture

history talks of race

history doesn’t

die with life

history is searched

again

and yet again

ancient science

builds your today

knowledge moves

rope to rope

from old homes

many a medicinal

substances

your grand mom told

if you build on

past inventions

your more of today

you fall less

because your way to

home

was reminded by an

old man

whom you as

grand father

told

***

you walk straight

or you bend like old

all depends

on what in history

you were told

by whom in history

you were held

how much love

your childhood

journey had

they say and

i believe the whole

the milk you drink as child

makes you

from historic days

of your own

intellect understands reason

reason becomes mature

with time

just as history of truth enfolds

history makes you proud

history pulls you back, down

what in you goes ahead

is what in way past

you have been taught

and told

character builds in history

of home

home builds from ancetors

at the same

you don’t capture

till you are told

victory is history again

what you call sane

insane

is a leading historic way

you learned when you

way back played

on the ground

which history made you call

a historic land

or motherland

more important than your own life

it’s stand survives

for history values

it fair

and many like me and you

this historic land has given

and will give again

so we are asked to die

as historic value of

motherland

is the most universal

high

history wins again

everywhere!
