Katie Bone is a high school student from Bernalillo, NM, who previously competed on the second season of American Ninja Warrior Junior. She is also a climber who has type one diabetes.

Katie first competed as a rookie during the fourth qualifying episode. There, she put up a very impressive run as she was the first competitor in that episode who got past the Final Frontier. She missed her first attempt at the Warped Wall, but she got easily on her second attempt, becoming the first finisher that episode and also the second woman teen to clear a qualifying course that season. She placed 8th overall, being the slowest finisher and was also the top women competitor that episode. She later competed in the fourth and last semifinals episode, being shown as the first runner in that episode. There she had another strong run, being just the second(and last) women this season to have made it to the back half of a semifinals course. She ended up being the only competitor that episode who failed on the eighth obstacle, going out on Ghost Town. Just like in qualifying, she ended up being the top women competitor and she placed 13th overall, advancing her to the national finals. At the national finals, she ended up falling on the fourth obstacle of stage one, going out on the Jumping Spider, ending her rookie season.

Katie also competed at the third Women's Championship, which was taped during the American Ninja Warrior 14 National Finals. In the first round, she got revenge on the Jumping Spider, later making it to the Fly Hooks before falling, as she tried to transfer from the first hook to the second hook. She placed 5th and advanced to the second round. She was the final runner in the second round, and she was the only competitor who managed to got past the fifth obstacle, Hornet's Nest and then she also cleared the Falling Shelves, being just the third women to clear Stage 2 in any American Ninja competition, placing first and advancing to the final round. In the final round she managed to defeat the current Women's Champion, Jesse Labreck in the first Cat Grab race, Then she also defeated Addy Herman in the final race, thus becoming the new Women's Champion

American Ninja Warrior: Women's Championship 3 is the third American Ninja Warrior competition dedicated to female competitors, which was recorded after American Ninja Warrior 14, and will premiere on May 29th, 2023, a week before the premiere of American Ninja Warrior 15.

Compared to previous championships, this championship was taped during the Las Vegas National Finals.

The competition worked as followed:

Round One:
Thirteen women competitors would compete in Stage One. with the top 6 female competitors advancing to Round Two.
Round Two:
Six remaining female competitors would compete in Stage Two, with the top 4 female competitors advancing to Round Three.
Round Three:
Four remaining female competitors would compete in the Stage Four with a knockout format, which is modeled after the Cat Grab event from the All Star Spectacular.
The last female competitor standing would be crowned as the champion and received the trophy and cash prize of $50,000.
