They Really do Bite

She ran up the stairs, barely dodging the grotesque creature that jumped at her, and into the bathroom. Looking around, for a moment she felt safe. Everyone seemed to be fine. She breathed out a sigh of relief just as the doors flung open. Three girls came in looking a little worse for wear. The girl in the middle was being dragged slightly by either girl. Sam became a little weary at the sight of her. She seemed to be unconscious and sweating profusely. It was then that she noticed the blood trickling down her pant leg. She knew what that meant. The small group of girls began to crowd, not knowing what was to come. Sam tried to warn the others, but no one would listen. She debated the exit, but could not get past the cluster of girls. Her mind raced for the answer. Just then, the unconscious girl began to laugh as though she were crazy.. Sam knew it had begun. In a split second she jumped in a stall; locking its door behind her she climbed the toilet and found her way to balance on the thin stall wall. "Let her go!" She cried. "Throw her out before it's too late!" The idea seemed to upset the two holding the girl. "Never," one cried just as the girl lulled her head to the side. Sam knew what was about to happen, but couldn't close her eyes. The crazed girl lunged at her friend's neck; tearing through it with savage grunts and groans. This seemed to send everyone into a frenzy.

The girl's face held a blank expression as her friend ripped through her neck. Blood splashed at first then dribbled. The poor girl's mouth seemed to be whimpering silently as blood began to trickle from it as well. Sam couldn't decide what had been worse.. the girls expression or how she died. The other friend, still refusing to let go, tried stopping her. The crazed monster turned on her, tearing her cheek off her face. The girl fell away clutching her face with blood covered hands. What happened next was indescribable.. They were all mice running around screaming.. just waiting for it to be their turn. just as she lunged for the last of the girls they ran for the exit; pushing through to a similar hell.. and she followed.

Shaking with fear she watched as the floor became slick with so many people's blood. She watched as it slid down the walls and dripped from the ceiling; her stomach heaved at the sight so many of her friends dead on the floor. She would never be able to erase what she was seeing... So many girls.. their flesh torn and mangled, gnawed and bleeding; adding to the pool on the floor that seemed to be forever growing. She felt the bile rise in her throat as slowly, one by one, each girl became reanimated. she held back the whimper that wished to break into the gurgling of those around her. So many hands reached up for her scratching at the bathroom walls, every time leaving a trail of blood to slowly run down and drip back onto the floor. How long could she balance herself? How long before those hands grasped her and pooled her down to share in their demise? Was there any hope for her? If she could only reach the door... but would this fate not await her in the hall as well? Just like those girls before her.. Sam shuddered at the thought.

She could hear the panicked voices of so many frightened children, could hear the pained screams of those who were caught... No, there was no hope for her. She began to cry as the door burst open; yet another victim had made their way into this hell. They swarmed like vicious animals, she had never had a chance... They pulled on her shirt and scratched at her as she stood there paralyzed with fear. That only lasted about a second though and then the feeding began. Once more she was forced to watch such grotesque things. The girl was mauled and ripped apart, piece of flesh by piece. But that did not disturb her as much as the pleading eyes she had seen when the girl had caught sight of her. Sam bit back heavy tears, there had been nothing she could do for her. Just as the girl started to stagger to her feet, Sam's began to slip...
