Nikolas is back in Port Charles

Adam Huss returned to General Hospital on Wednesday as Nikolas Cassadine to mixed reviews from viewers. Some fans were disappointed that Marcus Coloma did not return and 0thers said they did not like Huss in the role. Reading between the lines it looks like Coloma wanted to remain on the ABC soap full-time after his contract ended. Had he remained he might have been off-screen for months like Huss has before returning but he still would have remained in the role.

Huss took over for the final few episodes before to Nik disappeared and returned long enough for viewers to realize the character was alive. The Cassadine Prince and Ava Jerome ( Maura West) came to an understanding on Thursday and some fans said the chemistry between them is still there The duo are now discussing possibly working together to take down Esme Prince (Kristen Avery Pohl) who along with Ryan Chamberlain ( John Lindstrom) was behind the couple's breakup.

Spencer Cassadine (Nikolas Chaves) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) have let their guard down where Esme is concerned because she has been a good mother to Ace (Jay and Joey Clay). Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) says she will never forget that Esme drugged her drink and made the sex tape of Joslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (Will Lipton).

Esme's evil deeds should not be forgotten

Esme tried to gaslight Ava using the memory of her dead daughter Kiki Jerome ((Haley Erin). She seduced Nikolas and claimed Ace was his child but no one ever had a DNA test done. Now that her memory has returned Ms. Prince will be vindictive and calculating again but she can't fight Nikolas if she does to know he is back in Port Charles.

It's not clear yet what Nik and Ava plan but the old Esme will eventually slip up. She was used to a life of luxury and will not be satisfied working for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) as her gofer. There is no way she can pretend to be reformed now that she knows who she was and is.

Nava fans believe love is in the air

While scheming together, Nava fans are hoping they will feel the heat and fall into each other's arms again. Some fans were thinking that Ava and Sonny night hook-up but Laura Wright recently revealed that Carson will share a tender moment regarding the death of Bobbie Spencer (Jackie Zeman).

Sonny shows up at Carly's door to say he heard her mother died but when he tries to leave she calls him back and they cry in each other's arms. Wright was clear to say this was not a romantic moment but after Carly finds out Nina called the SEC she and Sonny may bond even more.

Not all GH fans believe in Nava

Some General Hospital fans agree with what Ava and Nikolas said on Wednesday which was they were toxic and had a sick type of love. These GH viewers say Nava should not get back together. Others say this is exactly why this couple needs to be together because they are cut from the same cloth.

Fans will want to know what connection Nikolas has to his uncle Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) who was telling Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyeal Grey) to keep Ava's husband alive.

Will Nik reveal himself to Spencer and Laura or keep himself hidden from everyone except Ava? If Nikolas is not the one who sent the images of a dead Austin then who else would be targeting Ava? These and other questions need answering and hopefully, in time they will be so stay tuned to General Hospital as the drama unfolds.
