The hearts of Netflix customers across the U.S. collectively broke when “The Office” was plucked from its virtual shelves. A casualty of the streaming wars that grips our modern world. Whether you were a self-soother viewer who watched “The Office” to fall into the familiar crevices of “that’s what she said” jokes, “glances to camera” and sweet Jim and Pam moments, if you were a first timer who is wildly late to the party looking to see what the hype was about, if you were in need of a good laugh, or if you wanted to jolt yourself back into the pre-pandemic times and remember the in-person office dynamics, you were likely affected by this.

Whether you can watch it elsewhere or not is a moot point here. We are moving onwards and upwards.

Your next great Netflix love is here, as decided by your favorite Office character.

Relish the good times you had with your old favorite character and find your next, below!

(Warning: "The Office" spoiler alerts below.)

If Michael Scott, then “Bridgerton". You like to be the center of attention, always. Don't worry, I see you. No judgment here. Just make sure you're on top of the most buzz-worthy shows to keep your spotlight, like this one. And if you don’t think Michael would have had the entire office role-playing the tumultuous, scandalous and romantic happenings of "Bridgerton", set in a fantastical version of nineteenth century London high-society, you’re DAFT. If you don’t indulge in Shondaland's greatest new hit, you’re also daft.

If Dwight Schrute, then “The Witcher". Based on a video game, this show is a fantastical monster hunt with swords, ax throwing, magic and great battle scenes. Meanwhile, Dwight has all of those weapons stored in the office and undoubtedly channels the ferocity and prowess of Geralt as he wields them. Let's

If Jim Halpert, then “The Last Dance.” You either love a charismatic, handsome boy-next-door, or you’re into sports like our Jim. If you’re just into John Krasinski I recommend you shift to movies, “A Quiet Place” or “13 Hours.” You can thank me later.

If Pam Beasley, then “Hello, Me!” Pam gets a few wake-up calls through the series, like when she realizes it’s finally time to end things with her high-school sweetheart. Or when she reaches outside of her receptionist role and pursues her passion for art. If she only had met her 17-year old self to shake things up sooner, maybe we wouldn’t have had to wait three plus seasons for her and Jim to get together.

If Angela Martin, then “Ratched". Angela gives off big Nurse Ratched vibes with her enthusiasm for authority, propriety, and severe attitude. Is anyone else slightly thankful Angela didn’t have access to syringes? P.S. Do a deeper dive into the inspiration for "Ratched" and watch the classic book turned classic film, "One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest".

If Stanley Hudson, then “LUPIN". You love a thrilling beach read. But mostly you love leaving the office for your highly anticipated annual vacation. Just wait until retirement, you’ll MOVE there before you can say, “Hawaiian shirt.” In the meantime, enjoy this chilling Sherlock Holmes-esque show to keep you on the edge of your beach chair.

If Phyllis Vance, then “Russian Doll". You have unexpected layers that take many episodes to uncover, even if at first glance your life seems…repetitive. Do you have a creepy doll collection by chance?

If Andy Bernard, then “Firefly Lane". You’re sentimental, excitable and often reminisce on the good old days. You savor your friendships and your memories, especially if you did a Capella at Cornell.

If Kelly Kapoor, then “Behind Her Eyes". This could be Kelly if her and Ryan married...then divorced. At least she tried to get help, but an affair with your therapist doesn’t really count.

If Ryan Howard, then “Formula 1: Drive to Survive". Ryan always did believe that he lived life in the fast lane. Watch this docuseries to see the literal fast lane drivers. Ryan could never compete, but don't tell him that.

If Oscar Martinez, then “Dead to Me". With his quality taste, sharp wit, and love for drama, no one else could appreciate this show quite like Oscar, except maybe you. Two best friends with two seedy husbands? Sounds eerily similar to the Oscar-Angela-Senator love triangle to moi!

If Creed Bratton, then “AWAY". What do Hillary Swank and Creed have in common? They are both on another planet, mentally at least.

If Meredith Palmer, then “Sex Education". In this show you will find something heartwarming, quirky, unexpected and hilariously in touch with its sexual nature. But besides that, if you chose Meredith, it's time to go back to high school and brush up on your sex-ed. Even if your mom is a sex-therapist like our new protagonist, Otis.

If Robert California, then “Crime Scene: The Vanishing at Cecil Hotel". Although this show turns out to be less of a crime documentary and more a blend of unfortunate conspiracy theories with a shortened examination on mental-health, you must be a true-crime fan to pick Robert California. An undercover sociopath, undoubtedly.

If Daryl Philbin, then Cobra Kai.” A love for sports, classics, and rooting for the underdog? Daryl would approve.

If Kevin Malone, then “Nailed It!” Kevin keeps it simple. He loves food and he is easily entertained. Enjoy watching contestants try to replicate complicated food trends in a series of challenges.

If Erin Hannon, then “The Baby-sitters Club". This seems like the only book series Erin would have read in her entire life. Ever. Cute, sweet, simple.

If Holly Flax, then “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina". Holly quickly put Michael under her spell and created the cutest couple on the show since Jim and Pam. Sabrina similarly, casts plenty of spells. Both torn between their strong sense of what is right and their heart strings, Holly is in HR with a history of romantic involvement with her coworkers and Sabrina is embracing her powers while trying to navigate life with her mortal boyfriend, a family of witches , and high school. Sounds facile enough.

If Gabe Lewis, then “The Haunting of Hill House” and its sequel, “The Haunting of Bly Manor". You are an avid horror movie fan. Much like Gabe, you enjoy discomfort or feel it all the time. This series is a work of horror art mixed with jump scares and planted ghosts. Gabe would be so proud.

If Toby Flenderson, then why?!
