There is troubling news for the those who have enjoyed watching Henrik Faison during his time in Port Charles. According to Soap Opera Spy.Wes Ramsey is gone from GENERAL HOSPITAL. The spoiler reports that the June 22 edition of Soap Opera Digest confirms that the actor who portrays Peter August will no longer be a part of GH. This is a sad day for the many fans who enjoyed the antics of Faison's son even when he began killing people off. Ramsey's charm and charisma had viewers hoping he could somehow be redeemed in spite of his many evil deeds. This is not what Ramsey's fans were hoping to hear and this will be a harsh blow for them.

Peter killed Franco and Drew and wrecked havoc on other Port Charles residents in many ways. Chase is fighting for his life because he was poisoned and Anna and Valentin are at their wits end because of Peter August. Liz and Finn took drastic measures that put their jobs at risk and Maxie had their figure out a strategy that has separated her from her newborn daughter.

So many villains come back from the dead or leave Port Charles only to return later that fans of Ramsey were hoping against hope that he was not dead. Now that it's official this puts Dr. Finn and Nurse Weber in a precarious situation. The duo who are supposed to save lives are now responsible for the death of Peter and covering it up. Will GENERAL HOSPITAL writers allow Liz and Finn to get away with their actions the same way Valentin never paid for blowing up the boat with Cassandra Pierce on it?

It was mentioned on Thursday's episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL that the security footage had been tampered with. This indicates that there is no record of Peter, Finn, or Liz going into the stairwell. Viewers don't know how long it will take for the news that Peter August is deceased to come out, if ever. Until there isan official notice in Port Charles, Maxie cannot be with her baby, and Brooke Lynn and Valentin will continue to bond with Bailey/Louise.

This situation is one big mess and there is no way for it to end without a number of Port Charles residents getting hurt in the process. Valentin and Anna both loved Peter in spite of his flaws and they will have mixed emotions about his demise. Maxie might breathe a sigh of relief but she did once love this man. Finn and Liz will probably be eaten up with guilt as they continue to try to pretend all is well and Chase is paying the highest price of all because his life is at risk.

Many GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers believe the antidote did not work because it is Gregory who is really the father to the detective and not Finn, which is another truth that needs to come to light. When Maxie finally does feel she has the green light to claim her child, Brooke Lynn, Valentin, and the Quartermaines may already be too attached and may fight for custody. Maxie's past could stand in her way as Spinelli was once given full custody of their daughter Georgie.

Maxie has been trying to turn her life around but Valentin could make her look like an unfit parent in an attempt to keep the little girl for his own. There will also be fallout for BLQ who faked a pregnancy that is totally on her. She would not however have gotten involved with Maxie if not for Peter's devious lifestyle. Best of luck to Wes Ramsey in his future endeavors but GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers are going to miss him. The memory of Peter August will be around for a long, long, time as Port Charles residents deal with the aftermath of all the problems he has caused.
