Other Ideas for the Marvel's most well known anti-hero

Tom Hardy certainly performed well as Eddie Brock, the human counterpart to the alien symbiote Venom (see above) in the 2018 movie Venom.

The movie had it's humorous moment and it's dark moments, thus earning the same R rating as had it for Deadpool.

With that being said, the teaser-trailer for the sequel is out.

I was originally going to do a piece about who else should be added, but now that the trailer is out I now have to wonder who/what else should be added to Alien symbiote/human reporter's world.

Here are some of my ideas.

Fantastic Four

While the movies featuring this famous foursome have not have had a good run at the box office, there is no reason they should appear in any aspect of the Marvelverse where they have to fight against Venom, only to find out that they should be fighting Carnage or other symbiotes.

Felicia Hardy (Black Cat)

Felicity Jones made an appearance in The Amazing Spider-man 2 as Felicia Hardy, but did not appear as the femme fatale Black Cat, who has her hard on for Spider-man/Peter Parker while committing some kind of robbery.

She could still show up as the Black Cat in future Venom films as someone who accidentally crosses Venom's path while doing some kind of robbery, only to get more deeply involved with a darker conspiracy.

Silver Sable

The other platinum haired beauty and leader of the Wild Pack has certainly has had her fair share of adventures and mercenary contracts. What if there was a Venom film where she and the Wild Pack were assigned to hunt down and capture/destroy Venom for a crime he committed, only to find out that it was Carnage, Knull or one of the other evil symbiotes in the Marvel universe.

Gwen Stacy

I am well aware that she was murdered by Green Goblin in the comics. But what if the love interest of Spider-man/Peter Parker didn't die?

According to the source cited (see above) there was a possible appearance of Gwen Stacy, suggesting that she did not die by the hands of Peter Parker's sworn enemy.

With that possibility in place, would she make an appearance alongside her web-slinging friend to fight Venom? Would she become She-Venom? or would she still become Spider-Gwen in the Tom Holland Spider-man series? One can only hope that there is more to Gwen Stacy down the line in the spider-verse.

Toxin

The offspring to Carnage infected Frank Mulligan as a means to kill his "son" the symbiote when his strength was up.

Poor frank had one problem too many. His job as a police office and being a father/husband. Becoming Toxin made his life even more complicated, so much so that he had to leave the force, along with his wife and child.

His involvement in future Venom films could involve Toxin working with Venom in taking down Carnage, the evil symbiotes or even some secret organization that wants to weaponize the symbiotes.

Ant-Man and Wasp

Seeing that the movie Venom takes place in San Francisco means that it would not be much of a coincidence if Scott Lang and Hope Pym appear as their heroic counterparts.

Though would they being fighting against Venom only to find out he's not the bad guy? or would they meet under different circumstances and join in the fight against.

With the possibility of a third Ant-Man not being made, why not have these two make an a appearance in future Venom films? It would be amusing to see more of the three wombats (Dave, Kurt and Luis) or to show more of Hank and Janet Pym.

The Punisher

I hate the fact that this series was cancelled after two seasons.

Now we are talking heavy artillery here.

Frank Castle (The Punisher) is a one-man Marine corp that has fought all sorts of scum. From organized crime to corrupt governments, can he fight symbiotes like Venom or his offspring?

One thing's for certain: The Punisher got a raw deal on Netflix, so he deserves another chance, but this time on the big screen.
