The Young and the Restless: Victoria comes between Billy and Lily

Victoria wields her power

On The Young and the Restless Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is feeling pretty powerful right now because she brought down Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), regained her position at Newman Enterprises, and reclaimed her family's fortune from her ex-husband. Spoilers say she will talk Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) into doing something dangerous that could have negative ramifications for Chancellor and Newman.

Vicki desires total revenge on Ashland and will talk Billy into using his Podcast to tell the world that Locke faked having cancer and scammed the Newmans. Billy has a gambling spirit and loves a good challenge. He also wants to feel as if he has an upper hand against Locke by exposing his deeds. This is a bad decision as it opens up both the Newman and Chancellor companies for slander lawsuits.

Lily said no

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) has given Billy two warnings and he is about to ignore them both. She has told him to stay out of Victoria's personal life and she asked him to run decisions by Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to make sure he does not put the company at risk. When Lily finds out what Billy is doing this just might be the end of their relationship.

It was not that long ago when she told him she had had enough of his helping his ex-wife. Villy does not at this point seem like they have romantic feelings for each other but if they continue plotting together against Ashland they could become romantic again.

The Young and the Restless viewers say it is inappropriate for Billy to spend so much time with Victoria when he is in a relationship with Lily. fans also note that Vicki is not innocent as early on she did her best to get Lily out of the picture.

Victoria knows that Lily does not like Billy spending a lot of time with her but she does not care. She might even become flirtatious just to get under Lily's skin. Right now Villy has an agenda and each is using the other to get back at Locke but he is planning something of his own.

The Ashland factor

Last week Locke told his assistant to keep an eye on Vicki and let him know her every move. Spoilers have teased that Ashland eventually will kidnap Victoria but he could have another purpose for keeping tabs on her and a different plan in mind.

Whether Villy's relationship remains purely business or turns romantic one thing is certain. It will cause problems with Lily who does not desire Victoria anywhere in the picture. Billy will continue trying to justify why he is using the Podcast to trash Locke and if they get sued Lily is going to walk. She first gently warned Billy and later became sterner in explaining why he should leave Victoria alone.

Billy is self-destructive

The Young and the Restless writers will not allow Billy to remain out of trouble for long. During the past year he was the reason Victoria and Ashland caused problems for Chancellor and Jill had to come to town to clean up the mess. Billy is like a child that can't resist touching the stove simply because they were told it is hot.

Most Y&R fans do not desire to see Victoria and Billy reunite and it's not clear whether or not this is where the current situation is headed. Victoria knows her dad hates Billy and she might just be using him as a means to an end, What is known is that Billy claims he loves Lily yet he spends every moment he can with his former wife.

Last week he complimented her on her win against Ashland and told her how proud he was of her. Victoria has changed and has become as ruthless as her father. She might string Billy along just to obtain revenge on Ashland and then drop him like a hot potato.

When Billy and Lily first began dating Vicki was always doing something to try to keep them apart. She might enjoy the time Billy spends with her because she knows she is taking him away from Lily. If indeed she gives a final blow to Ashland by using the Podcast she might kick Billy to the curb as well when it's all said and done. He could end up losing Vicki, his job and Lily so stay tuned to The Young and the Restless.
