The Young and the Restless spoilers tease a Skyle breakup and a Kola baby

The Young and the Restless fans are divided regarding Kyle dumping Lola for Summer. Right now Skyle is keeping things low key and trying not to flaunt their love. Lola assured them she has no hard feelings but viewers as well as Genoa City residents know that her heart is broken. Sharon told Rey and Nick that life is short and Kyle and Summer are truly in love so they should have their moment. If, however, recent rumors are true, the couple could implode, before they have the chance to settle down and start a real relationship. Soap Dirt is reporting that set insiders for The Young and the Restless are indicating a breakup for Kyle and Summer and a possible pregnancy for Lola. The reason for this projected deal breaker is that Hunter King has landed the lead in a pilot for ABC titled Prospect.

If this show is picked up by the network, the actress may have to walk away from her beloved Y&R character who is a fan favorite. This would be a huge disappointment for Skyle devotees who have been waiting for over a years to see the couple reunite. There are also rumblings that Lola might be pregnant but Kola fans should not expect their favorite couple to get back together. Lola is devastated that her husband left her for his ex wife . She is under no delusions regarding a reunion and might even consider terminating an unwanted pregnancy. Ms. Rosales/Abbott is a woman of principles so she probably would not go through with an abortion. Neither would she use her unborn child as a way to get Kyle back. Spoilers say Summer will become fed up and walk away from Kyle but that’s not the way she handles things. Even if Hunter King does leave the shoe, her character should remain true to form.

Summer would probably stand by her man and try to be a good stepmother, but Lola would more than likely want as much distance as possible between herself and the woman who broke up her marriage. The writers have been working overtime in order to get Kyle and Summer back together so it seems pointless if they are only going to tear them apart so quickly. Viewers should keep in mind that leaked scripts are handled in two ways. They come to pass with 200% accuracy or the plot is ditched and a different storyline comes to pass. Lola is trying to make a clean break and would not desire to take Kyle back because of a baby. She and her husband had one pregnancy scare and were being careful. Spoilers suggest Summer will walk away from it all but there are other possible scenario's.

If Hunter King's series is picked up by ABC she might be able to go on recurring status with The Young and the Restless as she did while filming Life in Pieces. Y&R could have a temporary replacement for King and the character of Summer remains in Genoa City. She might be sent out of town on business or simply not in the office every day. King is a fan favorite and Y& R will no doubt work with her if it is possible. This way Skyle fans would continue to enjoy their favorite couple for a little while longer. Summer has been chasing Kyle for the past year so it does not make sense that she would walk away so easily if Lola is pregnant.

Summer would more than likely stand by her man and determine to be a good stepmom to Kyle’s baby. Lola, however, might not want the woman who broke up her marriage anywhere near her child. The Young and the Restless could always go down a familiar soap opera path with this storyline. There is the possibility that the writers will have Theo to claim to be the baby daddy, to throw Kyle off. This may work for a while, but in time, the due date would reveal this is not the case and that Kyle will be the proud papa.

Congratulations to Huntet Iing on her ABC pilot. However this works out, her adoring fans will want her to remain in Genoa City, will understand if that’s not possible.
