Phyllis reaches out from the great beyond

Spoiler alerts for The Young and the Restless suggest that Jeremy Stark's (James Hyde) reign of terror may not last too long and viewers will be happy to hear this. Many Genoa City residents are suspicious of Stark but have no clue he and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) are working together to frame Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). No one believes "Red" married this man because she loves him and three town residents are determined to get to the bottom of the issue.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) already suspects Stark has an end game that includes framing Diane and Victor Newman already has his men investigating the ambulance crash. Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is furious and blames Stark for his mother's death and will not stop until he gets answers. Spoilers tease that Phyllis may have bitten off more than she can chew where Jeremy is concerned and will soon send an SOS. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) her once-best friend is going to receive a phone call from what appears to be a burner phone and hear a voice that sounds like Phyllis asking for help and saying "He's got me."

Will Michael believe he is actually talking to Phyllis?

Fans of The Young and the Restless have been wondering how Jeremy plans to carry off this charade considering Phyllis is alive and well. Some viewers have considered that he might try to kill her. Spoilers have said that Stafford will be taking a bit of time off from the soap so this might account for not seeing her on-screen right away. It's not clear how long this game between Stark and Genoa City residents will continue but Phyllis cannot hide out forever.

If Michael receives a call that indicates she is in danger this suggests Jeremy has no intention of allowing "Red" to see the light of day. Will Baldwin believe it's his good friend or think Stark is playing a joke? In the meantime will there be evidence that Phyllis was poisoned that leads to Diane's arrest? Jack can back her up that Jeremy bumped into him and stole the ring that Diane took out of Phyllis's hand but will Chance Chancellor ( Conner FLoyd) believe them?

Y&R fans wonder what Phyllis believed the final outcome would be and if she could leave her family forever thinking she was deceased. Does Jeremy believe he will obtain some type of financial payoff or perhaps get his wife's assets now that she is dead? There are unanswered questions that should eventually be answered and bring the closure fans desire.

Will anyone believe what Phyllis has to say?

The Young and the Restless might wrap this up quickly or Diane might end up behind bars before Michael receives that phone call and investigates. When Phyllis is finally rescued will she pin all the blame on Stark by saying he threatened her and her family if she did not go along with the plan ? Summer has already blamed Diane and if Chance goes by the evidence there may be poison on the mask since she kept saying "poison poison" before she passed out.

There are too many people questioning what happened and perhaps Diane's enemies might suspect Jeremy more than they believe she actually wanted Phyllis dead. Be on the lookout for updates and spoilers from The Young and the Restless regarding what happens next with this unusual situation and for how long Michelle Stafford is expected to remain off-screen, There will be no coming back for Phyllis after this unless she can place all the blame on Jeremy but who will believe her.
