The Young and the Restless: Rey and Chloe may assert themselves

On The Young and the Restless, Rey Rosales (Jordi Viasaro) and Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) have something in common. Both remain in the shadows and on the sidelines as those they love make bad decisions. Rey has been the strong, silent, longsuffering spouse and Chloe continues to be the best friend who is more like a sidekick.

Spoilers tease that both of them will soon become fed up with the way they are being treated and each may decide to put their foot down and assert their positions. Once upon a time they both loathed Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and blamed him for all of their woes. Now their focus will shift to Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Eagan) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) who are becoming quite selfish and self-centered.

Rey Rosales takes stock of his life

Rey has stood by as Sharon and Nick Newman (Josh Morrow) have been bonding while spending time with their son Noah Newman (Rory Gibson). Rey does not have a relationship with Noah as he does Faith Newman (Raylynn Castner). He is feeling left out but not wanting to intrude on the family time of Noah and his parents. Spoilers are saying that soon he will have a talk with Sharon and possibly let her as well as the Y&R fans see that he has a dark side.

The Young and the Restless viewers have only seen Rey express anger when it comes to Adam who has a lot of enemies. He may now give his wife an ultimatum to put him first or else. He has been patient in allowing Adam to take up Sharon's headspace because he saved Faith's life. Now that Nick and Noah seem to be her world and he is being left out Rey will feel he has to do something and Sharon might not like this new version of her husband.

Chloe may feel backed into a corner and come out swinging

Chloe has been doing her best to work with Adam whom she blames for the death of her daughter Deliah. She invited Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to come on board at Newman media because she believes she is a good fit. Now that Chelsea is back in town Chloe has been trying to mediate from all sides. She began by warning Sally not to become romantically entangled with their boss and then she tried to keep Chelsea from falling for her ex-husband again.

Now Chloe has to referee between Sally and Chelsea and spoilers say she is growing weary and may have to take a stand where her best friend is concerned. Chelsea is furious that Adam does not want to reunite with her and that he seems smitten with Sally. Chloe does not want her bestie to do anything to jeopardize the hard work she has been putting in at Newman media. Chloe may soon feel that Adam, Sally, and Chelsea have backed her into a corner and feel she has to fight to survive.

Rey and Chloe may fight back

Spoilers tease that Chloe will stand her ground with Chelsea which will be quite a different approach. Chloe knew Chelsea was faking being paralyzed and wheelchair-bound but went along with it. She is not going to stand idly by and allow her BFF to jeopardize all she has worked so hard for. Chelsea will be stunned to see Chloe stand up for herself and Sharon will feel the same regarding Rey. Be on the lookout for updates and spoiler alerts related to this mounting tension coming on The Young and the Restless.
