This is a BTS Fanfiction Story that is completely fiction and while the characters share names with BTS Members, none of the story reflects on them as people and is clearly for entertainment purposes only.

Taehyung sat in the locker room tapping his foot in thin air as the coach spoke

"We're going to have a quick practice today. I know I said you get the week off from practice due to you guys doing amazing and smoking the away team last week. But I needed to meet with you all to discuss some things."

Jungkook and Tae glance at each other and the team sits almost in a circle on the benches as they look at the Coach. Tae and Jungkook sat close to each other near the front, Hobi and Yoongi sat just behind them and the rest of the team sat around in a half circle on the benches paying attention to the announcement.

"As you all know Jungkook is the team Captain and Taehyung the Co captain. But they are both seniors, which means they'll both be gone next season. So I called this meeting to let you all know if you are interested in being the next captain and co captain you're going to have to let me know and step up your game. I'm going to be watching how you help your fellow team mates, your strength and coordination, your skill and your leadership skills."

There was murmuring around the team and Jungkook shifted a bit uncomfortably as the thought of graduation made him a bit nervous. He was comfortable in high school. He ran things and was confident in his role in the world. Graduating would be like starting over. It would be feeling lost and unsure what the future holds just like when he first entered high school. That scared him, and the thought of one of the Juniors taking his spot really rubbed him the wrong way. Tae shot him a reassuring glance as he could sense Jungkook's discomfort with the subject.

"Jungkook and Tae will be helping me decide who will be taking their place. So I suggest you impress them as much as you impress me." Hobi and Yoongie were seniors too and grinned as they saw the excitement in the Juniors voices. "Obviously you juniors will have first pick of being captain and co captain over new players trying out for the school year. However, if you don't meet the requirements a junior can come in and make Captain or Co Captain. A sophomore could make Varsity right off the back and smoke everyone here and make Captain. So don't take your being here first for granted. Really work at it. Now a show of hands, who is interested in being the next Captain?"

Jungkook looked around and resisted the urge to fight for his spot as several hands went up in the locker room. Tae laughed quietly and subtly touched Jungkook's leg seeing the look on his face. It wasn't too friendly and he didn't want coach seeing him look like that. Jk glanced at Tae and licked his lips sitting up adjusting his face and smirked.

"If I have anything to say about it, no one here is ready to take my spot. I say we have a scrimmage and those who want to be next captain play against me and Tae" He said grinning and Yoongi chuckled making the Coach smile.

"I like that idea Jungkook. You set up the scrimmage, pick your team and the potential captains will play against your team."

"Great, I mean it's only fair the next potential captain should be able to take on the current captain." He says with an evil smile.

The basketball players looked nervous but nodded. Taehyung smirked pulled out his phone and checked the time.

The Coach seemed to notice and spoke, "Well I don't want to keep you all, this was an unofficial practice. I just wanted to announce about the Captain and Co captain roles. So the rest of the season is going to be tryouts. Put on your best performance in everything...and of course Jungkook's scrimmage." The Coach chuckled and waved them all off. "See you next week, you're all dismissed."

Everyone got up and Tae took a relieved breath. Jungkook grinned putting his arm around Tae hanging off him a bit.

"I'm glad we didn't run and workout. Can you imagine, us walking in and stinking up the whole theater. God forbid we make Jimin's show stink anymore than it already will."

Taehyung glared at him but he only grinned and tickled his side. He really couldn't help himself.

"Chill, I'm just kidding." He says smirking as Tae squirmed to escape his side tickles.

Yoongie laughed, something he didn't do often, but when he did it really lit up his whole face and the whole room seemed to brighten. It made Tae smile and push Jungkook off him.

"So Jungkook, who are you going to add to our team?" Yoongie asked, already knowing he and Hobi were going to be on his team for the scrimmage.

Jungkook shrugs, "Honestly, I'm not sure. I was thinking Jin, he's really tall and pretty decent and Namjoon has a great height too."

Hobi laughed hearing namjoon's name, "Namjoon? He's so...messy with his ball handling. He sometimes looks like a baby deer the way he moves on the court."

The guys all laugh and Jungkook grins, "Yeah I know. I like Namjoon though and he learns quick. Putting him with all of us and adding Jin, we'd make a great team. Besides Namjoon plays better than half the Juniors on the team. I know he can be clumsy but, on the court he seems to move pretty good."

Taehyung grinned at him a bit but everyone else just nodded and didn't say anything. It was Jungkook's team and Jungkook's scrimmage idea. If he thought Namjoon was a good idea they wouldn't argue him down.

"It's nice to see you take up for someone rather then put them down."

Jungkook gave him an annoyed look and the guys chuckled reaching the Theater. It was 4:30 and people were already arriving to buy tickets. Jungkook and everyone paid $4 to get a ticket and enter the theater.

"You owe me four bucks." Jungkook said quietly as they found a row to scoot down and sit.

Tae grinned as they all scooted down to the middle of the row and sat towards the middle of the theater for the best view.

"So we don't get popcorn?" Jungkook teased

Yoongie chuckled as he wanted some snacks too. Hobi reached in his bag and brought out skittles and M&M's he'd bought from the vending machine at lunch and tossed the M&M's to Jungkook and the Skittles to Yoongie.

"Thanks Hobi!" they both exclaimed happily with their snacks.

Hobi pulled out a lollipops for himself and Tae just shook his head as they all loudly rattled candy paper. "Really guys....really"

Hobi innocently put his lollipop in his mouth and shrugged. Yoongie tossed a skittle in the air and tilted his head back catching it in his mouth.

"You gotta admit, you can't watch a show without eating snacks. It's just not right." Yoongie said, tossing another skittle in the air."

Taehyung looked at them and was glad they showed up early before the show started. "I swear I can't take you guys anywhere."

They laughed enjoying their snacks and settled down as the lights dimmed and the theater filled up.

Jungkook sat back munching on his M&M's, the only thing truly keeping his attention and in a good mood was the sweet chocolate melting in his mouth. The curtains lifted and the music was dark. Jimin was in an all black outfit as he came out first, feet bare as he moved with such precision. Jungkook lifted a brow and sat up a bit as he slowly chewed his M&M's. Tae took his eyes off Jimin to glance at Jungkook who had showed a little more interest. The music's intensity really added to the story, especially with Jimin's body movements and facial expressions. He truly was telling a story with his body.

Jungkook watched him intently surprised at how elegant he was, the way his feet just barely seemed to touch the ground. He tilted his head really pulled into every move, every breath, every reach. His body looked so beautiful as he extended and lifted his legs and turned. He'd never seen anyone move like that. Let alone a boy. He blinked a bit and adjusted himself in the seat. Jimin was actually...good. He was more than good, he was spectacular. The muscle and body control it took to move the way he did, to control ones body in such a way. Jungkook was truly impressed. He always called him a girl and honestly the way he moved was very feminine, gentle, soft, elegant. But at the same time the way his muscles moved under the thin clothes, the way his calves strained with his precise movements, the way he could stop his body and then ebb and flow again with the ease of a river. He was Yin and Yang in every sense of the word. Jungkook gulped as he moved again and turned catching Tae watching him. He wondered how long he had been watching him. Was this why he held the boy so close to his heart?

Jungkook closed his mouth as he realized his mouth had been hanging open. He licked his lips and tried to look bored but Tae could tell he was completely captivated by Jimin. That's what he was hoping for. He wanted Jungkook to really appreciate Jimin for his qualities and skill. It wasn't easy doing what Jimin did. And he didn't deserve to be called a girl just because he lacked to understand the true skill. Jungkook leaned over to Tae and whispered.

"Stop staring at me, watch your little friend." He said, he tried to sound annoyed but instead he blushed and seemed flattered. He hated himself for that and just sat up focusing on the small male again.

Yoongie just smiled watching impressed by Jimin's dancing skills. Hobi made a small clapping motion without making a loud clapping noise as he was proud of Jimin. He didn't know him well but he shared first period with him and it was a moment of "Hey I know that kid!" The music was dark and helped tell the story as Jimin led the opening with his solo. The last key was played dark and stretched out for effect and the stage went dark as the curtain fell. Applause erupted and Jungkook found himself smiling and clapping. Tae clapped and Hobi and Yoongie clapped so loud some people turned around.

"Guys shhh it's not a basketball game. " Tae said quietly, slightly embarrassed.

They chuckled and turned their attention back to the stage as the curtains lifted and the music played again. This time it was more light and bright with stacatto instrumental music. Jimin was back on stage but this time in the middle of other dancers. They leaped out spinning and extending matching the flow of the music giving it a fairy feel.

Jungkook was less engaged with this number and closed his eyes going back to being bored.

When the curtain closed and the music was mysterious this time, leading with a beautiful piano solo Jungkook opened his eyes. He widened them when he saw Jimin in a white gentle dress shirt that flowed behind his elegant movements. He sat up and once again was captivated by Jimin. He didn't take his eyes off him as he completely owned the stage, told the story, became one with the music moving in perfect sync of the music's tempo, sticking every landing. Jungkook wasn't even a lover of dance, but he sure could appreciate talent when he saw it. And something about the way Jimin looked on stage truly excited him. His whole aura was different when he danced. His confidence exuded from him, his stage presence was sexy and demanded your attention.

"Wow." Jungkook breathed out as he stuck the last move and the light died and curtains closed.

Yoongie clapped and Hobi grinned whispering, "He's sooooo good!"

The show was about an hour and a half long and received loud applauses as the lights came back on and the dancers all held hands and bowed. Tae stood up and clapped with all of his might now and Yoongi stood and whistled. Jungkook grinned and stood up clapping too as the audience exclaimed, "Encore!! Encore!!!" Jimin had serious fans as a lot of the audience were shouting his name and whooping and cheering. Seeing it gave Jungkook a little more respect to the small framed boy. Tae turned to the guys.

"I'll be right back! I forgot to buy a rose at the ticket table. " He said hurrying out.

The students behind the ticket sale table smiled and sold him a small bundle of roses for $2 and he hurried back in the theater hurrying down the isle. Jimin waved as he saw Taehyung approaches and smiles wide blushing seeing the roses. He goes into the audience smiling at people touching him and hugging him and finally made it to Tae and hugged him tight.

"You made it!" He exclaimed so happily.

"I promised I would." He says smiling and hands Jimin the small bouquet.

Jimin giggles and takes it hugging him again admiring the roses, "Thank you."

"You're welcome Jimin, you're always so good. I'm super proud of you." Tae turned to his friends and motioned them to come to him. "Look who I brought with me."

Jimin looked behind Tae and saw his basketball team mates were with him. He blinked looking surprised seeing Jungkook and looked at Tae with a bit of worry in his face.

"Don't worry, it's ok." Tae said, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder.

Hobi made his way up to Tae and pulled Jimin into a hug surprising Jimin a little bit but smiled and accepted the hug happily, "You did soo good, oh my gosh you're amazing!" Hobi complimented enthusiastically

Jimin blushed and chuckled shyly, "Thank you so much."

Jungkook watched him and could see he was back to being a simple cute boy that was small enough to be pushed around. He cleared his throat trying to clear the thought as well and nodded his head at him.

"Uh...you were great Kid. Sorry I was an ass to you."

Jimin glanced at Tae unsure how to respond. Had Tae made him apologize? He bit his lip and nodded, "I..it's ok, thanks for coming to the show."

Jungkook nodded and elbowed Tae, "I'm getting tired, we should get going."

Tae nodded and pulled him into a hug again, "are you guys having your after show party?"

Jimin smiled at the extra hug from Tae and nodded, "we are, I'm about to go back stage now. Thank you for coming again, you have fun tonight with your friends." Jimin said, all love in his voice.

Tae smiled and nodded and Jimin turned jumping up on the stage with such grace he almost looked like he was flying. Jungkook lifted his brow impressed with the leg muscles of doing so. That stage was pretty high and he used no hands to assist with the jump

"Wow, he's actually a whole ninja."

Taehyung laughed at Jungkook's words and nodded, "yeah, he is."

They laughed and left the theater all leaving the school and walking home together.
