The Bold and the Beautiful: Only in small doses

Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) are the types of soap characters that fans love to hate. They show up and start a controversy that disrupts the lives of everyone involved. After utter chaos has ensued they leave town for a season. Many fans had been saying for some time that Hope's dad and crazy Shelia should make a return to LA.

Who knew the writers would be bringing them at the same time and have them plotting with one another? The Bold and the Beautiful has done an excellent job of bringing the most notorious villains together with a common goal for November sweeps but these two can only be tolerated in small doses.

Deacon and Shelia have left a trail of destruction

There have been decades of lives being ruined because of Deacon and Sheila separately and now they are terrorizing the LA fashion world of the Logans, Forresters, and Spencers as a team. These characters are so toxic that everything they touch is destroyed. This is why they are never allowed to remain on the scene very long as their constant chaos does not leave room for healing.

Right now on The Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) is beside herself trying to save her marriage from John Finnegan's (Tyler Novlan) birth mom. Her father Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Hope's husband Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) want to wipe Deacon and Sheila from the face of the earth. There is no room for these two long-term because first of all, they do not have any roots. it's not clear how either one of them is sustaining themselves with a visible source of income. Another factor to consider is that they are always scheming and hurting the people they claim to love.

Deacon and Shelia have a future

Finn is about to have his heartbroken when he finds out that Jack Finnegan (Ted King) is his biological father. He was raised by Jack and his wife Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsudo) and was told he was adopted. Not once in all of this time did Finn have any clue that his father committed adultery with Sheila and that he is truly Jack's son. Now, both Finn and Li will be reeling from this revelation and may not be able to forgive Jack for a long time.

Spoilers have not revealed how Deacon will disappoint Hope but he is sure to do something. Brooke has softened her stance towards her baby daddy just a bit but this is causing friction in her marriage to Ridge. Shelia and Deacon cannot go on inflicting pain from the sidelines and they will never be fully welcomed with open arms by anyone, except possibly their children. Once the truth is out about Jack and Shelia's affair and the dust settles what more would there be to keep Ms. Carter in town?

Deacon and Shelia are their own worse enemies and after a while, B&B viewers cannot stomach them for much longer. They lose their appeal and viewers begin saying they are tired of them. The writers have probably only hired these two for a limited engagement which is why fans should brace themselves that time may be running out for these characters. They will leave or be run out of LA or go to jail and those left behind will attempt to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives.

If this is the end of the line at least for mow for these characters time will march on. It could be years or even decades before either Deacon or Shelia is mentioned again. B&B viewers are no doubt wondering what their fate will be this time and how much damage they will cause to Hope and Finn. Neither character has ever left LA on good terms but there is a first time for everything. Somewhere down the line viewers will begin missing them again and they could be brought back separately or together.
