Eric Forrester's traditional Thanksgiving dinner

The Bold and the Beautiful: A past reflection

The above image is from a Thanksgiving past on The Bold and the Beautiful where everyone smoked the peace pipe together. Could you even imagine Shelia and Deacon sitting down to eat with these folk? Perhaps in the future the writers might get back to this way of observing the day but for 2021 things will be very different.

The following information comes from Soaps She Knows at Soaps.com. They obtain their information from the CBS studio's and stand by their spoilers as being accurate and unchanging

The Bold and the Beautiful: Wednesday, November 24 highlights:

Thanksgiving will be observed on Wednesday in LA. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will be hosting a traditional holiday meal for John Finnegan, (Tanner Novlan) Steffy Forrester, (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) Liam Spencer, (Scott Clifton) Hope Logan Spencer, (Anika Noelle), Carter Walton, (Lawrence Saint-Victor) Zende Forrester,( Delon de Metz) and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White).

The Bold and the Beautiful: Missing guests cause questions

If this guest list is accurate then there are some people missing who should be a part of the holiday meal. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is not listed as one of the guests but surely his dad would not exclude him during such an important time where the family is gathered. Donna Logan( (Jennifer Gareis) is going through a really hard time since Erid Forrester (John McCooke) fired her and kicked her out of his life at Quinn Forrester's ( Rena Sofer) bidding. Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) and Donna have been glued to Brooke's hip for the past few months as they have been plotting to remove Quinn from Eric's life. She should also be a part of the Thanksgiving at her sister's home.

Sheila spends the day with Deacon

Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) has been attempting to distance himself from his partner in crime but will find himself alone with her on Thanksgiving Day. He and Sheila will be licking their wounds together in her hotel room where they eat Chinese takeout. The duo lament how they should have would have and could have been spending the holiday with their children if it were not for those "pesky Forresters". Each of them, both Deacon and Sheila fantasize about the way things should have been and daydream about the perfect Thanksgiving holiday with their family. Deacon says he wants to fly solo but may find himself strategizing about future plans for Hope and Finn.

Bold & Beautiful spoilers for Thursday, November 25 and Friday 26: An old episode and a preemption

The Bold and Beautiful will air a repeat episode of Steffy and Finn’s wedding, on Thursday which originally aired on August 6, 2021. On Friday the CBS soap will be preempted by sports which is a tradition. The powers that be should have aired an episode from Thanksgiving past on Thursday which would have been more appropriate for the season.

Long-time B&B viewers will recall that Eric Forrester had a beautiful longstanding tradition for the fourth Thursday in November. He would invite everyone to his home, even his enemies and for one day they would lay down their swords. The guest would go around the table taking turns saying something good about the person seated to their right. Many times frenemies and enemies were sitting side by side but each person at the table always came up with something nice to say about whomever was seated to their right.

It's understandable that due to COVID Eric did not host his big holiday feast this year. It would have been nice for fans to reflect upon one of the holifay's past rather than Finn and Steffy's wedding.
