A majority of viewers are against this union but it looks as if the writers are going ahead with it anyway.

General Hospital: Nina needs something to smile about

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has been in a depressed state for close to a year, on General Hospital. Practically every time she is on screen she is sad or in tears about some issue in her life. She spent 9 months conflicted over the fact that she was keeping Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) away from his family. She has cried about missing time with her grandson Wiley Corinthos 9Caleb and Kyler Ends). She cried after Lenny Caulfield ( Riff Hutton) died and after Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) and "Mike" found out she knew his real identity and kept it secret.

Nina has been down in the dumps when talking to Sonny, Ava Jerome (Maura West), Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), Willow Tate ( Katelyn McMullen), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duel), and Carly Corinthos. Now she will be concerned about Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) who underwent a C-section to deliver her son. On Monday's episode of General Hospital Nina poured on the waterworks while apologizing to Sonny for her mistakes. This woman really needs something to lift her head and make her smile.

Carly will not like being kept in the dark

Carly still does not know that her husband fell in love with Nina when he believed he was Mike. Sonny seemed about to share at least part of his story with Carly last week but her mother Bobbie Spencer (Jackie Zeman) walked up and the moment was lost. Carly and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) came clean with Sonny about their romance shortly after he returned to Port Charles but the mob boss continues missing opportunities to let his wife know how close he and Nina were in Nixon Falls.

General Hospital: Fans wonder if Mike emerges and choose Nina?

Sonny and Nina keep running into each other, especially at Charlie's Pub. Each time he is around her, Sonny displays more of the compassion that he exhibited while he was Mike. It's understandable that he desires to spare Carly any pain and he also does not want to see her attack Nina. The recent tears that Ms. Reeves shed in front of Sonny could just bring out even more of Mike. GH fans are wondering which woman Sonny will ultimately choose.

Nina's pity party just might get to the man she fell in love with and this is why he needs to come clean to his wife. Nina's trial is coming up soon and spoilers have already stated that Sonny will defend her. When the judge asks if he believes she committed a crime Sonny will look at Nina and say no. The truth about their relationship might come out on the witness stand and Carly will be shocked if this is how she finds out. Nina will no doubt shed some tears during her trial because she truly seems remorseful.

General Hospital Update: Viewers are not fond of Sonny with Nina

A number of General Hospital viewers are saying on social media that they do not want to see Sonny and Nina together. When this question is posed online about 90% of respondents say "No way." There is a small majority of others who indicate they believe Carly has it coming. The writers seem ready to go in this unpopular direction but Nina's tears are not going over well with the fans. Carly and Michael are looking for a fight and Willow is trying to be fair. Sonny is hiding a big secret that Ava and Phyllis are aware of. The truth will come out and everyone will get to see if Nina's tears soften Sonny and increase his Mike mode or if he pushes her away.
