Clint Howard debuts on B&B

The Bold and the Beautiful announced some time ago that Ron Howard's younger brother, Clint Howard, would portray a homeless man named Tom beginning April 26. Howard was a child star who portrayed Leon on The Andy Griffith Show and Mark on Gentle Ben. He has over 200 television and film roles to his credit.

B&B spoilers say Tom may have clues about what happened between Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and Sugar (Robin Mattson), but no details have been revealed. At the end of Thursday's episode, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman), who crossed over from The Young and the Restless, told Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) how lucky he was to have never seen Sheila's crazy side. Lauren was walking away but stopped in her tracks when Deacon asked what she knew about Sugar.

ZIs Sheila out there somewhere?

Tom recognizes Sheila's photo

Lauren had run-ins with both women on Y&R, and the drama spilled over to B&B. On Friday, she will fill Deacon in about Sugar, and he will find out his lover had a lookalike thanks to plastic surgery. This will fuel his belief that Sugar is the woman with ten toes who was cremated.

Deacon will go to John Finnegan (Tanner Novlin) with this new information, suggesting his mother is still alive. If Finn tells Steffy Finn (Jackie Wood) she will probably become angry. Even so, Finn and Deacon will begin a search for answers. Along the way, they run into Tom the homeless man, who recognizes Sheila's picture on Deacon's phone.

Does Tom know where Sheila is, and did he play a part in Sugar taking her place? Is Sheila really alive or did Sugar do away with her? What answers will the homeless man have, and how will he assist the efforts to seek the truth?

Who is assisting Sheila if she is alive?

Spoilers say that things will become rough for Tom by the end of the week, but they do not elaborate. Does he have Sheila stashed somewhere or know who does? If Sheila is still living she would need food and water to survive after all of thsi time someone would have to assist her.

Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful are confused because Brown said her time on the CBS soap was over, and it had been a good run. This sounded like she had been written out and was done with the CBS soap, but now viewers wonder if she will return.

Did the B&B higher-ups require Brown to say her run was over to keep fans in the dark? John McCook (Eric Forrester) revealed that he could not let curious viewers know his character would receive a miracle cure when it looked as if Eric was dying, so anything is possible.

What will life be like for Sheila if she returns?

If Deacon and Finn find the missing Sheila, and she returns with them what will her life be like from now on? Her son and her boyfriend were the only two people to show any sadness at her death, and even finding out about Sugar will not change anyone's mind about Ms. Carter. Steffy will probably wish it had been her mother-in-law who died, which will cause problems in her marriage.

Make sure you tune in on April 26 to see this action unfold and the reactions of the Forresters and Logans. Be on the lookout for updates from The Bold and the Beautiful related to Clint Howard's character, Tom, and what he knows about Sugar and Sheila. Is Kimberlin Brown returning or will she be spoken of in name only? Time will tell.
