Bradly Bell, executive producer of The Bold and the Beautiful has angered a large portion of the viewers because of a current storyline. Fans of the CBS daytime drama are stunned at the direction the show is taking where Thomas Forrester is concerned. On social media the majority of responses indicate that the Hope lookalike mannequin must go. Not only is the life size doll talking to Thomas, but she is instructing him to kill Liam and get Hope back. On Wednesday as Thomas was kissing the mannequin, Liam looked through the door and thought it was his wife. Any other husband would have walked right in to find out what was going on.

Liam instead ran straight to Steffy to share his tale. Had he stuck around he would have seen that Steffy’s brother was kissing the Hope for the future prop. Liam leaving “ Hope’ with Thomas does not make any sense but now there will be a lot of confusion and misinformation going around. Hope is actually at home texting her spouse and wondering where he is. She has no idea what he witnessed and he might not say a word to her. This is a big mess and viewers are expressing their disgust with this storyline. Some are actually hoping Thomas might have brain tumor as that would explain the craziness he is displaying.

Thomas Forrester has his issues but confusing a mannequin with Hope, talking to it, and kissing it is going a bit far. B&B viewers understand and accept that because of COVID restrictions the life size dolls must be used in certain love scenes. If that were not troubling enough, Brad Bell is pushing the envelope where Thomas is concerned. Many who watch the CBS daytime drama are not enjoying recent episodes and now Liam has mistaken the mannequin for his wife. It was dark in the apartment but Liam should have noticed that "Hope" was not talking back and neither was she embracing Thomas as he kissed her.

Some fans say they are embarassed and refuse to watch whenever Thomas is alone the with mannequin. There will probably be a lot of miscommunication between Liam and Hope, with him accusing and her denying. Neither of them will put two and two together and figure out that Thomas was kissing the Forrester prop because that's just too insane. Some viewers say they might stop watching until this nightmare is over. Surely Bradley Bell and the other writers realize that this is not the type of thing the viewers want to see and that is a big turnoff. Perhaps they thought the audience would get a kick out of Thomas spiraling out of control again but this is simply more than most devotees of the CBS daytime drama can bear.

Spoiler alerts do not give any indication of how this will turn out but viewers are being extremely vocal on social media. They are tired of The Bold and the Beautiful revolving around Liam, Hope, and Steffy and desire to see other characters. Dollar Bill, Justin, Katie, Pam, Charlie, and Donna need storylines they can sink their teeth into. Fans are also not enthused about Carter, Zende, Zoe, and Paris. This feels like Deja Vue when Nicole, Xander, and Maya were on screen a lot and then disappeared. Viewers do not want token characters of color who are here today and replaced tomorrow.

The powers that be had better get a grip on things before they lose a lot of viewers. The fans want to see original storylines that involve all the characters and not the repeating love triangles that go on for decades. Be on the lookout for updates as to what will happen next on The Bold and the Beautiful. Hang in there because if there are enough complaints surely the mannequin will be disposed of and never seen again. Many fans had hoped that Thomas could truly change his ways and move forward, finding love. His obsession with Hope is just as dysfunctional as Liam not being able to choose between her and Steffy.
