Terminator Franchise

If you love and are a fan of the Terminator franchise, then you should watch Terminator Dark Fate. Terminator Dark Fate is a good follow-up to the previous Terminator movies. Arnold Schwarzenegger is in the movie as a Terminator as it should be. Terminator Dark Fate stays consistent with the main storyline of the franchise and compliments it. I highly recommend you to watch Dark Fate since I have watched it myself and I'm a fan of the franchise.

It spoke volumes in the movie industry upon its release. It was very unique and interesting. Arnold Schwarzenegger played the role of the Terminator, a cyborg sent back in time to terminate Sarah Connor who gave birth to John Connor, the leader of the Resistance movement that consisted of humans that fought against terminator machines that had a sole purpose, which was to annihilate the entire human race's very existence.

Several years passed before there was a sequel to the Terminator movie. The second Terminator came out in 1991. It was highly anticipated and later became the preferred Terminator movie over the first one. The 3rd Terminator movie followed after several years. It fell short to meet the expectations of the Terminator franchise masses. It still stayed in the pocket, however, and continued the Terminator legacy.

Terminator Salvation conveyed the future war that finally actualized between the Resistance army and the Terminator machines. It was a good follow-up to the last one, thus keeping the storyline and legacy going. It brought the war in the battle between humans and machines to fruition. It started off with the T-600s and ended with the T-800s. But Arnold Schwarzenegger's presence wasn't really felt in the 4th one. He made a very brief appearance, but it was an artificial version of him.

Genisys was like Terminator 2 and 3 all over again. It was good but wasn't really in sequence with the first four movies. It went in an entirely different direction. It was peculiar, but it was full of action and entertainment. It seemed like in the end the war against the machines was won, but by preventing it instead of it actually happening. Sarah Connor was brought back, but not the original Sarah Connor. She was going back and forth in time with Kyle Reese, but also not the original one. John Connor was part of it but was also not the original.

Terminator Dark Fate was the most recent in the franchise. It was action-packed and entertaining. It was a fresh, new storyline that was appealing and mind-blowing. But one can no longer tell what direction the franchise is going in. It has changed course. But I was somehow content with it. The original Sarah Connor was brought back. So it was epic. She is really badass and fun to watch. She made me relive my childhood days. There’s nothing like adding on to a classic. It must be complimented and done in such a way that it continues the legacy.

I’m a big terminator fan and love the theme of it. I love the storyline and never get tired of it. Terminator will forever be remembered as one of the best franchises in history to me. I would recommend watching the Terminator franchise to people who have never watched it before that love action movies. You won’t be disappointed. It’ll have you sitting on the edge of your seat. You will be entertained without a shadow of a doubt. Don’t miss out. It’s highly recommendable. Arnold Schwarzenegger definitely nailed it with Terminator. If he decides to do another, I won’t be mad at it. Except now he’s old.
