After premiering last year in countries that still have a Disney Junior cable channel, the first season of pre-school age Winnie The Pooh reboot/spin-off Playdate with Winnie The Pooh has arrived on Disney Plus, with it's companion series, Me & Winnie The Pooh likely to follow sometime soon. This has brought the series, which both redesigns the characters and recasts their voices, to the attention of some traditional Pooh Bear fans who were previously unaware of it, and many are not happy.

As a Millennial watching this documentary series this really ruined my childhood for many reasons. As an adult, all these skits, and jokes I thought were harmless were actually extremely dark jokes, and sexual innuendos. I never thought Nickelodeon would do this. However, all of us know about the Hollywood industry is very dark, and merky.

Not sure how this show slipped under my radar for so long but Girls5Eva is amazing. We have talked about how women seem to have an expiration date in Hollywood. They are either young and hot, this normally caps out around 30. Or they are old and bitter and this doesn’t really start until 50+. So there is kind of this dead space for actresses where if they don’t create their own work, they don’t work. It's wildly upsetting because there isn’t anything even remotely comparable for men. So the casting and message of Girls5Eva is needed on so many levels. Let’s get into it.
Alexandrea CallaghanPublished 2 months ago in GeeksPreviewing "Descendants: The Rise of Red"
The countdown is on, and it's coming sooner than advertised! I was over the moon with the news of a fourth installment to the Descendants film series, and the moment is close to arriving! I absolutely love this film series; hard to believe that this whole phenomenon started nine years ago! It was during the summer of 2015 that the first film hit Disney Channel, with the central characters being a quartet of villainous offspring (or "VKs"--short for "villain kids"). They were as follows: Mal (the daughter of Maleficent), Carlos (the son of Cruella de Vil), Evie (the Evil Queen's daughter), and Jay (the son of Jafar). The first film's plot centered on the quartet being sent by Maleficent to infiltrate Auradon's school to steal the Fairy Godmother's wand, though the film's progression saw the group slowly fit in to the point where they decided to abandon the plan.
Clyde E. DawkinsPublished 2 months ago in GeeksReview of '3 Body Problem' Season One
I haven't read the novel by Liu Cixin and its sequels, and I didn't read much about the series because I wanted to be surprised. I'd say the first season of 3 Body Problem was superb -- a powerful mix of thought-provoking, stunning action, and heartbreaking human stories, all in support of a story of a life-threatening interstellar intelligent species, the San-Ti, who have been in contact with our planet for more than 50 years and now are approaching us, some 400 years away from arriving, which may mean the end of our species. And there was a wise and funny joke about Einstein and God which I hadn't heard before.

Blade Man Review: A Disappointing Ride for Me
Last week, a K-drama called Blade Man was released on JioCinema, which I finally finished watching yesterday. I was very excited to watch it, and in the process of watching it, I lost a whole day, which means I spent the whole day in my room.
