Netflix’s “Midnight Mass”: A Monster with a Message
I’m a horror girl. I grew up on teen slashers. I’m always excited when Netflix releases something new in that genre and they have been going in some interesting directions lately. While I still think “The Haunting of Hill House” is their best attempt at a high quality intellectual horror series to date, “The Haunting of Bly Manor” which came after it was certainly not without its merits and “Midnight Mass” - the newest installment in the genre from the same creator, Mike Flanagan - did not leave me disappointed, either. As I delve into what’s great about it, as well as some of its issues, please beware of spoilers.

Squad Game Drama Series Review
The game of octopus is directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, who made the 2009 film Gamers. Gamers do not control wealthy people who want to face danger and personal danger, but they do. It is interesting to see how selfish people like Gi Hun-sang and Beyok force each other to stay in the game and how people fight when they know what is at stake. The game of squid itself has an easy nine hours where ordinary people with high debts make critical and murderous decisions while trying to stick to their personalities.

The Best 'Game of Thrones' Scenes. Top Story - October 2021.
I realised that something I do when I'm drinking alone is watch my favourite scenes from 'Game of Thrones' and marvel at how brilliant they are, but it had never occurred to me to write about them. I, like many, thought the show dropped in quality after it stopped being based on the books, but although I do think that Benioff and Weiss were poor when it came to making the narrative themselves, they were masters in the art of adaptation, and that is something I've made clear here in some of the scenes I've chosen. I also might disappoint a lot of people because I haven't included any scenes from the night's watch/beyond-the-wall narrative or the Daenerys Targaryen narrative. That isn't because I didn't enjoy those storylines, I just always found the Westeros narrative far superior, and was disappointed that the potential that was there in those other two narratives never really took off. I will have to give an honourable mention to the birth of the dragons, which is an epic ending to the first season (which, as a season overall, I think is the best one), but that scene, brilliant as it is, just reminds me that it was part of a narrative with so much potential that was ruined tremendously in the last couple of seasons. Not including these storylines might annoy a lot of readers, but that would require there to be a lot of readers, which I imagine there won't be given I do not work for a big Journalistic outlet much as I'd like to. Anyway, after much deliberation, I've narrowed my favourite moments down to 5. Here goes:

Rating LGBT+ Representation in the Top Animations for Kids on Netflix
f you haven't been watching any Netflix originals, then what are you doing? More specifically, Netflix originals aimed at younger audiences are amazing. They have so much diversity, plot, and emotional arcs that will thrill your inner child.

Schitt's Creek - A Series Review
I wonder what sort of adventures we’ll have in Schitt’s Creek today. Airing in 2015, the series begins with the once rich Rose family moving into a small rundown town by the name of Schitt’s Creek. Adjusting to this new life, they are opened up to relationships and dreams they never thought of.
