Nathan JackettsPublished 6 years ago in Geeks'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Episode 6, "Blood of My Blood"
Review: After the heartbreaking “hold the door” situation, in a last ditch effort, Meera is dragging Bran through the snow while the wights fiendishly pursue them. As it looks more and more like a one legged man trying to win an ass kicking contest, alas, someone does eventually come to their rescue, riding horseback and wielding a strange fiery whip of chain, no less. Ghost Rider, is that you? The whole time Bran is still warged out of his mind, doing his third eye routine. The Horseman makes short work of the skelly-looking wights, and begins with the pleasantries. The show makes no bones about keeping his identity a mystery and reveals the man as Benjen Stark, a.k.a. Bran’s long lost uncle of sorts. Well, he hasn’t been lost too too long. At least, not as long lost Uncle Gerion.
My Favorite Anime
Anime has always been my favorite pastime since I was in the tenth grade. I found out what anime genres I prefer and which ones I tend to stay away from. So far in the past four years of watching anime, I have composed a list of anime that I have fully enjoyed and my honest opinion of it. As you read this, some of you may have seen most of these while the rest of you might want to add this to your "Anime Watch List". Each of these anime are unique in their own special way and the creators behind them are to be equally appreciated in the same way. So as you have or will watch these anime, take the time to appreciate the artwork and storyline.

Interesting StoriesPublished 6 years ago in GeeksThe Problem with 'The Big Bang Theory'
The Big Bang Theory is an Emmy award-winning sitcom based around the lives of four socially awkward but highly intelligent scientists in Pasadena, California: roommates and theoretical physicists Sheldon Cooper and Leonard Hofstadter, aerospace engineer Howard Wolowitz, and astrophysicist Raj Koothrappali. The show's main source of comedy in the early seasons is the men's relationship with Penny, the beautiful, socially skilled, aspiring actress who moves into the apartment across the hall from Leonard and Sheldon, as they try to win her affections and their awkward 'geek' status clashes with her common sense. Throughout the show's 11 seasons (and renewal for a twelfth), two other characters are added to the main cast as Sheldon and Howard's partners: Amy Farrah Fowler and Bernadette Rostenkowski, respectively.
Abby HiltonPublished 6 years ago in GeeksShould Be Studying But I'd Rather Binge Watch...
We all have priorities in life whether it is to go to work, school, babysit, dog sit, etc we all need a break from life just for a silent moment which allows us to finish one whole season of a show. Here is a guilty list of shows that I binged watch and now you will too. Enjoy!
8 Amazingly Clever Things You Never Noticed About 'Rugrats' As A Kid
Nearly every 90s kid loved Rugrats, the classic Nicktoon presenting the daily adventures of Tommy Pickles and his friends. The show's nine seasons and its trilogy of movies are now fully available on DVD and iTunes, and for US viewers, Rugrats airs regularly on TeenNick's NickSplat programming block, so revisiting the series has never been easier. With plenty of popculture references and slightly naughty jokes, Rugrats remains just as enjoyable as enjoyable to watch as an adult.
Kristy AndersonPublished 6 years ago in Geeks'The Crown': 5 Dramatic Events for Future Seasons
Netflix’s hit show, The Crown, is well-known for its historical accuracy, and for bringing the crazy drama of Britain’s royal family to a new generation of Netflix watchers. But while we’ve seen some crazy drama in the first two seasons—affairs, deaths, Nazis and sex scandals—there are some royal famous controversies and tragedies that are bound to make the upcoming seasons more dramatic than ever. Oh, and obviously: spoilers!
Em DiMonacoPublished 6 years ago in GeeksWhy 'Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Is WRONG
Why?! Who on earth approved this? HOW MANY PEOPLE APPROVED THIS!? Oh man, calm down, Dan...calm down, it's only a cartoon. Honestly, this show could be OK. I am alright with interpretations of original ideas and stories...but the new material needs to keep the basic moral and character essentials to make it a real and good new version of a show. This show could have some potential, but they have changed basically everything that was essential about them. Let me break this down into two categories: Childhood Ruining and Tolerable.
The Devil Is Queer
For those who haven't seen Lucifer, the show is currently almost done with its third season and has had many implied, mentioned, and shown LGBT scenarios.
Elijah JamesPublished 6 years ago in Geeks'Black Mirror'
Do you love Black Mirror as much as I do? Okay, let’s get into it. Much has been made of BM’s foreboding, not-so-far away future where our current technology obsessed society has taken multiple swerves over to the dark side, leaving us viewers afraid to look at our phones. But you know it’s also, like, neat. What works best in BM, like any other show, is not just what it is about, but (I can’t stress this enough in my reviews) how it is about it. Sure, it’s cool as shit to see implants that record all of our memories, killer robot bees, or being able to physically block someone from your life, but it’s also damn cool when each of those stories is accompanied by some sort of unexpected twist and involves well drawn, relatable characters. BM does just that, and often just when you think you’ve worked out the commentary and the conceit, it slaps you upside the face with an ironical type shift in story. So yes, not only does the show work as a ‘reflection’ (ha ha) of where we may be heading as a civilization, but each episode, a few misfires aside, are finely written stories with delightful developments and nuanced people to inhabit the universe. So, by season (or series, if you will), here are my favourite episodes reviewed, from least to best in their respective series’ runs.
Nicolas BrownPublished 6 years ago in Geeks'Game of Thrones' Fan Theory
As a long time Game of Thrones fan, I’ve had a prediction from pretty early on in the show: Jon Snow will kill Daenerys Targaryen. My reasoning used to be pretty simple. I believe characters in Game of Thrones are based off of history. I think Cersei is Catherine De Medici, Daenerys is Mary, Queen of Scots, and Jon Snow is Elizabeth I.
