In the interest of those who have not seen the show nor have read George R.R. Martin’s novels, I will keep this spoiler free. There are still a lot of things in the Game of Thrones franchise that I don’t know or have forgotten with the sheer size of the work.

It’s 10:00 o’clock on a Monday night, and my brother and I are, once again, discussing Jon Snow’s resurrection on Game of Thrones.

'Survivor: Edge of Extinction' Episode 12
Wow! What a great episode of Survivor tonight! First off, good job taking out Ron—it was a great move. Also, Rick, nice work on attempting to convince them that you got the idol from the Edge of Extinction. Unfortunately for you, Lauren has an idol so she knows where they come from so she didn't buy it. Also, nice job again to Rick since HE FOUND ANOTHER IDOL! YAHOO! Rick is one of my faves this season, he is absolutely awesome, and I can't wait to see him continue his amazing work this season.
Nathan MillerPublished 5 years ago in GeeksI Really Love Ghost
My favorite character on Game of Thrones isn’t a human character. Sure, I love Sansa, and I love Jaime, but there’s a clear favorite in my heart. It’s Ghost, Jon’s loyal Direwolf. This good wolf has been with Jon since he was a puppy and Jon was a boy. They’ve grown up together, fought together, and been with each other through thick and thin.
How 'GOT' Helped Me
I've always enjoyed things like Game of Thrones, the fantasy and drama. It was great distraction from all the bad going on in my life. It gave me something to look forward to, even led me to make new friends. It inspired me to write again. When I began to watch the show, I had just found out I was pregnant and my dad had not long since passed so I needed a distraction.

My boyfriend Dontae and I were late on the Game on Thrones train. It wasn’t until the end of 2014 (mid fourth season, I think) that we actually started watching it. Netflix was king in our house due to the fact that we didn’t have cable. After hearing about it just about everywhere, as well as wrapping up Revenge (another show we've gotten into lately) we decided to dive right in. Although it started off slow, we were almost instantly hooked. Together we binge watched the first few seasons, now joining in GOT conversations with friends, as well as having our own mini debates amongst ourselves. Both loving everything from the scenery, costumes, bloody death scenes/ fights, and all the debauchery in between. From there, Game of Thrones took center stage. Almost every night, coming home from work (even weekends), we watched episode after episode, totally engulfed in the worlds of Westeros and Essos. Many nights we’d look at each other, and ask ourselves, “We can watch ONE more episode, right?” as if sleeping for work would cause us to miss a great battle, or a clue as to who was inching closer to the Iron Throne. Even up until the time Dontae became ill, and was diagnosed with a rare blood pressure disorder called Pulmonary Hypertension. Not being able to move around as much as he was used to, GOT took on a more meaningful tone. It helped us escape our reality of doctor visits and specialists. In the spring of 2016, we were invited to a GOT watch party. Season six was just getting started, and we didn’t want to wait the extra months once it came out on Netflix. Now considering ourselves somewhat experts on the show, we were delighted to go. There we competed in trivia games, ate food and snacks that were GOT themed, even taking home dire wolf souvenirs (in honor of our favorite family, The Starks). Unbeknownst to us, it was one of the last outings we would have before Dontae succumbed to the disease that June.

Game of Thrones is a phenomenal television series. It's crazy because it gravitates to so many different groups of people. In the past, I didn't think much of it and brushed it off as another television series that I'd never want to watch.

How 'Game of Thrones' Inspired Me!!
I started watching Game of Thrones earlier this year (2019) and I absolutely fell in love. The concept of the show was unique and was enjoyable. I have always been medieval fantasy story lover. Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Star Trek are just my styles of TV shows. Anything with action, fantasy and comedy are great. I’m excited for the end of Game of Thrones Season 8, because I wanna see who gets that Iron Throne. I hope Tyrion Lannister gets it, because he deserves it with all the sh*t he’s been through.
