Leaves are falling, it’s chilly outside, and you need something good to watch while you’re cozy and snug in your house. There are staples like It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, but I’ve got something just as good. Cartoon Network had a miniseries 2014 called Over the Garden Wall, and to this day it’s one of my favorite cartoons ever.

Someone Has to Die A Netflix Original Series Created by Manolo Carlo. This short mini-series (three episodes) taking place in Spain, about (I think) the persecution of gays during the 1950’s, is an “interesting” watch.

Barney RablPublished 4 years ago in GeeksAnime to Watch: Neon Genesis Evangelion
Oh boy. This is an interesting one. Neon Genesis Evangelion is a show every anime fan has at least heard of, and with good reason. There’s nothing else like it out there to this day. That's saying a lot since this came out in 1995. Sure it has mechas, monsters, and your classic timid anime boy protagonist, but there is just so much going on with this show…where do you even start?

karen jodes capananPublished 4 years ago in GeeksCan Kyle and Summer survive their current situation on 'The Young and the Restless?'
On The Young and the Restless, it’s difficult to determine whether it is Summer or Kyle who is displaying more immaturity. On the eve of their elopement, he was texting Lola. Summer saw the messages and ran away. He should have used a little wisdom and she should have nipped this in the bud. All she had to do was talk to him but instead, she might now have initiated their downfall. Summer hired someone to tail Kyle and in the meantime, she is hiding in plain sight in Genoa City. Everyone thinks she is out of town thinking about her relationship, except Faith who ran into her at Chancellor Park.
Cheryl E PrestonPublished 4 years ago in GeeksWhy ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Should be on Everyone’s Watchlist
Avatar: The Last Airbender, debuted on Nickelodeon in 2005. It's intended audience was for ages between 6 and 11, but they gained attention from all age ranges. The narrative behind the show is that their world is divided up into four nations: the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, the Air Nomads, and the Fire Nation. Each has its own element and the people of that nation are known as "benders" because they can control their element. Inside of these nations are also people that don't have these abilities, sometimes called "nonbenders". Each generation has one person that can manipulate all for of these elements, the "Avatar". This individual also has a strong connection to spirits and their past reincarnations. Once an Avatar dies, their powers are passed down to the next Avatar of the next nation. The Avatar is seen as the link between the mortal world and the spirit world, therefore has abilities some benders don't. They serve as the symbol of order between all of the nations and are meant to keep the world in peace with each other. In this series in particular we follow Avatar Aang, the last surviving air bender, and his journey around the world to learn all four elements. Not only does the show have a great story, but it also has influences from our culture and entirely new ideas only seen on Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Lydia YungerPublished 4 years ago in GeeksDevon gets revenge on Nate on 'The Young and the Restless'
A promo for this week on The Young and the Restless shows Elena crying as she is telling Devon that she slept with Nate. Ms. Dawson seems to be in tears in almost every episode lately so let's hope something works out in her favor that will put a smile on her face. The next scene in the promo shows Neil's son with guns blazing reaching out to punch his cousin with his fist. Monday's Y&R episode was devoted to the Abbotts dealing with Dina's death and Summer stalking Kyle. The brawl between Devona and Nate will probably come on Tuesday or later in the week.
