The Batman’s Ending Parallels with Batman: Arkham City- Here’s How (SPOILERS)
The Batman, released earlier this month, was a pleasant surprise and a great addition to the DC lineup of its superhero’s modern-day cinematic treatments. Ever since I watched it, I have been recommending it to anyone in earshot, and if you are at all interested in comic book films, I highly suggest you check it out as well. With that being said, the film’s closing minutes reminded me of my favorite game in the Batman: Arkham franchise, Arkham City, and I want to discuss just exactly how. Also, this goes without saying, but SPOILER ALERT for The Batman, Arkham City, AND the sequel to City, Arkham Knight.

Warner Bros/DC Films appears to be moving its characters away from the “Snyderverse.” The most recent announcement has been stirring for a few months now. Rachel Zegler, who will be joining the cast in the role of another goddess, recently told Empire Magazine that there just might be an appearance by Wonder Woman in the next Shazam! movie. While the people of Atlantis consider Black Panther a threat, Namor is considered both an enemy and a threat to Wakanda. A recent issue from Marvel comics clearly indicates that the rivalry between Black Panther and Namor persists with the former stating he hates him more than any other member. He hates Wolverine due to the love triangle angle with Storm. But his hatred for Namor is so much more!

Marvel is continuing its promotional push in the leadup to the release of the Moon Knight television series. Moon Knight is a character that is completely new to the Marvel live-action arena although he is no stranger to readers of Marvel comic books. Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac as Steven Grant and Marc Spector/Moon Knight. The series follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers that he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc's enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.
