My Initial Thoughts on 'The King's Avatar,' and The Continued Annoyance Towards Netflix
I was browsing through the latest releases in preparation for the next season of anime. Naturally, as a result, I perused the listings on MAL and livechart for the shows to come. Within the fall line up I saw that the second season of The King's Avatar is scheduled to come out. Granted, it has been delayed multiple times already and that was no surprise. I then go on to Netflix, because why would they put out a release schedule, and if they do put one out, I am yet to find it. No, I do not consider their irregular tweet every six months on their high profile line up, a schedule.

'My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry': Book Review
Don’t let the long title scare you off On my ever growing list of books to read, I’ve had this book on hold for some time. Thanks to a book club I have with my roommates, I decided this would be an interesting book to read. My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry is a book by Frederik Backman. Translated to English from Swedish, the book tells the story of seven year old Elsa coping with the loss of her strange and quirky grandmother, her best friend in the world. As the title suggests, her grandmother left Elsa apology letters to deliver to the people in her life for the various major and minor wrongs she’s committed toward them throughout her life.

'The Ghost and Mrs. Muir' - A Movie Review
Want to read a story about a haunted house? You never know you may end up in your own haunting tale. The Ghost and Mrs. Muir was a 1947 film directed by Joseph L. Mankiewicz. After the death of her husband, Lucy Muir would rather move on with her life. Fascinated in living in a haunted mansion, little does she know of the presence of the ghost of an old sailor. Forming a bond with the ghost, they collaborate on writing a novel.

Old School Anime Reviews - 'Another'
Let me ask you guys a question: have you seen the Final Destination films? If yes, then you'll know what I mean when I say that the series we're looking at for this latest installment of the Old School Anime Reviews series is like an animated form of Final Destination. If you're not familiar with the films in question, they basically follow a group of people who cheat death—surviving a catastrophe that they should've died in due to one character suddenly developing psychic abilities. These characters are all subsequently picked off by Death in some seriously sadistic ways.

An Anime Review 'Carole and Tuesday' (Part 1)
Carole and Tuesday is the latest show to be directed and created by Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop, Kids on the Slope), and alongside, helping him on the director’s chair, is Motonobu Hori (Animation Director—Psycho-Pass, Beck). The show is scripted by Aya Watanabe (A Gentle Breeze in the Village, The Town’s Children, Josee The Tiger and the Fish) while the original character design is done by Kubonouchi Eisaku (Manga—Cherry, At that Time. She). As the first half of the show is on Netflix, finally, I chose to watch the show in its dubbed form and so the english cast for the two leads are Jeannie Tirado (Genocidal Organ, Fire Force), who plays Carole, and Brianna Knickerbocker (The Rising of the Shield Hero, The Seven Deadly Sins), who plays Tuesday. The Japanese cast for Carole and Tuesday are Miyuri Shimabukuro (Hanebado!), and Kana Ichiniose (Darling in the FranXX, Fairy Gone) respectively. The show is produced by Studio Bones (Soul Eater, My Hero Acadamia).

My Review of 'Murder Mystery'
Another Adam Sandler Netflix exclusive movie has made its way to us. Every time he comes out with a new movie I cringe, because I don't have huge hopes for them. I'm starting to think that Netflix is probably the perfect place for Adam Sandler movies.

My Review of 'Rim of the World'
Rim of the World is a little bit of an odd film. I totally get what they were trying to do with this movie, so maybe I'm getting a little too old to be watching these types of movies. Still, the nostalgia factor of movies of my past kind of make me have a weak spot for this movie.

My Review of 'Bill Burr: Paper Tiger'
Netflix has been killing it recently with the Netflix comedy specials. They came out with Aziz Ansari's Right Now special, which was really good. Then they came out with Dave Chappelle's Sticks and Stones which was amazing as well. Now they've released Bill Burr's Paper Tiger special.
